Abstract

Penelitian mengenai Persepsi Masyarakat Tentang Fungsi Hutan Kota Srengeng memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi masyarakat tentang fungsi hutan kota menurut 3 klasifikasi umur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan survei. Pengukuran persepsi dan kondisi sosial masyarakat diukur menggunakan skala Likert. Teknik pengambilam sample yaitu Sampling Kuota. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket, wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Persepsi masyarakat terhadap fungsi Hutan Kota Srengseng menurut hasil perhitungan pada sub variabel pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai fungsi hutan kota termasuk ke dalam kategori sangat baik, Kategori umur 1 yaitu 12-17 tahun memiliki persentase 84.4% untuk fungsi pelestarian lingkungan dan 82.1% untuk fungsi lansekap. Kategori umur 2 yaitu 18-40 tahun memiliki persentase 85.6% untuk fungsi pelestarian lingkungan dan 82.6% untuk fungsi lansekap. Kategori umur 3 yaitu 41- 65 tahun memiliki persentase 84.3% untuk fungsi lansekap dan 82.6% untuk fungsi pelestarian lingkungan. Jadi dapat disimpulkan persepsi masyarakat terhadap fungsi hutan kota di lingkungan padat penduduk adalah sangat baik. Research on Public Perceptions about the Function of Srengseng Urban Forest has a purpose to know the public perception about the function of urban forest according to 3 age classification. The research method that used is a descriptive method with a survey approach. Measurements of public perception and social conditions were measured using Likert scale. While the sampling technique was by Quota Sampling. Data collection in this research was using questionnaires, interviews, observation, and documentation Public perceptions about the function of Srengseng Urban Forest according to the results of calculations on the sub-variables of community knowledge about the function of urban forest belong to very good category. Category age 1 is 12-17 years old, having 84.4% percentage for environmental conservation function and 82.1% for landscape function. Category age 2 is 18-40 years old, having 85.6% percentage for environmental conservation function and 82.6% for landscape function. Category age 3 is 41-65 years old, having 84.3% percentage for landscape function and 82.6% for environmental conservation function. So it can be concluded that the public perception of the function of urban forest in a densely populated environment is very good.
