Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran pemilihan jenis coping stress pada pasien dewasa diabetes melitus tipe 2 yang resilien di Jakarta. Pengambilan data penelitian ini berlangsung di DKI Jakarta pada bulan Juni 2015. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 47 responden. Variabel coping stress pada penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen The Brief COPE oleh Carver. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan untuk mengukur variabel penelitian adalah statistika deskriptif dengan menggunakan SPSS 16.0. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini pada pasien dewasa diabetes melitus tipe 2 yang resilien lebih banyak melakukan coping stress jenis active coping, venting, substance use dan positive reframing. Coping stress jenis self-blame, religion dan self�instrumental support yang sedikit dipilih oleh pasien dewasa diabetes melitus tipe 2 yang resilien ini. This study aimed to describe of resilience in adult patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in terms of coping stress in Jakarta. Collecting data of this research took place in DKI Jakarta on June 2014. This study uses quantitative descriptive methods. Purposive sampling was used as sampling technique. The sample totaled 47 people. Coping stress assessment was using measuring devices Coping Stress (The Brief COPE) by Carver. Statistical descriptive that used in this study were perfomed with SPSS 16.0 for windows. The results of this study indicate that adult patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus who resilient more perform stress coping type of active coping, venting, substance use and positive reframing. Coping stress type of self-blame, religion and self-instrumental support that bit selected by adult patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus is resilient.
