Abstract

Tujuan dari Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar pada siswa kelas III SDN Kalijaya 03 Kecamatan Cikarang Barat melalui model cooperative learning tipe talking stick pada waktu semester II tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Jenis model penelitian ini adalah PTK model siklus dari Kemmis and Mc. Taggart, dan setiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahap, yaitu Perencanaan, Tindakan, Pengamatan, dan Refleksi. Instrumen data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instumen nontes, catatan lapangan, dan dokumentasi berupa foto. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah tercapainya target yang telah ditetapkan oleh peneliti yaitu 75% siswa dalam kelas mengalami peningkatan hasil belajar IPA. Adapun hasil yang telah dicapai pada siklus I persentase hasil belajar IPA adalah 56% dan persentase pemantauan tindakan mencapai 63,33%. Pada Siklus II persentase hasil belajar IPA mencapai 84% dan persentase pemantauan tindakan mencapai 86,67%. Dengan demikian tercapailah target yang diharapkan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah hipotesis diterima dan implikasinya adalah dengan menggunakan model cooperative learning tipe talking stick dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA. The purpose of this Class Action Research is to improve learning results at the third-grade students of SDN 03 Kalijaya Districts West Cikarang through cooperative learning model of type talking stick during the second semester of the academic year 2014/2015. This research uses classroom action research model of Kemmis and Mc. Taggart, and each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. Instrument data using nontes instrument, field notes, and documentation in the form of photographs. Results of this study was the achievement of targets set by the researchers that 75% of students in the class have increased learning outcomes natural sciences. The results achieved in the first cycle of learning outcomes natural sciences percentage is 56% and the percentage of monitoring the action reaches 63.33%. In the second cycle learning outcomes natural sciences percentage reached 84% and the percentage of monitoring the action reaches 86.67%. Thus the expected target was reached. The conclusion of this study is, hypothesis accepted and the implication is to use cooperative learning model of type talking stick can improve learning outcomes natural sciences
