Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pendapatan petani ikan hias air tawar di Situ Malang Nengah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Situ Malang Nengah, Desa Parigi Mekar, Kecamatan Ciseeng, Kabupaten Bogor. Waktu penelitian dilakukan pada bulan September sampai bulan Oktober 2012. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua petani ikan hias air tawar yang melakukan budidaya ikan hias air tawar di Situ Malang Nengah. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu sebanyak 68 orang responden. Teknik Sampel yang diambil menggunakan Sampel populasi, dimana seluruh populasi diambil sebagai sampel. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner tertutup. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan survey, dimana data yang diperoleh dari penelitian dibuat tabel frekuensi dan persentasenya kemudian hasilnya dideskripsikan. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh 79,41% atau sebanyak 54 responden memiliki rata-rata pendapatan Rp 1.522.200 yang dikategorikan berpendapatan sedang dengan pendapatan antara Rp 954.000 sampai dengan Rp 2.216.000 per bulan. Sedangkan sebesar 20,59% atau 14 responden memiliki rata-rata pendapatan Rp 2.865.900 yang dikategorikan berpendapatan tinggi dengan nilai >Rp 2.282.000 per bulan. Dari 8 kunci keberhasilan dalam budidaya ikan hias air tawar yaitu jenis ikan, kondisi induk dan benih, wadah dan peralatan pemeliharaan, air (media pemeliharaan), pakan, penanggulangan dan pencegahan hama penyakit, pengemasan dan pengangkutan, dan pemasaran, faktor yang paling dominan dalam menentukan besar kecilnya pendapatan petani ikan hias adalah harga ikan hias yang berbeda sesuai jenis, dan banyaknya jumlah jaring terapung yang dimiliki. Jenis ikan yang berharga jual paling tinggi yaitu jenis Koi mencapai harga jual Rp 4.000 per ekor, maka pendapatan petani ikan hias dari hasil panen juga lebih tinggi, sementara jenis Maskoki memiliki harga jual terendah yaitu antara Rp 300 - Rp 750. Untuk kepemilikan jumlah jaring terapung, semakin banyak jumlah jaring terapung yang dimiliki petani ikan hias, maka semakin besar peluang untuk membudidayakan ikan hias dalam jumlah yang lebih banyak, kepemilikan jaring terapung paling banyak yaitu 25 buah dan paling sedikit 2 buah jaring terapung, akan tetapi pemilihan jenis ikan yang harga benihnya bervariasi juga kepemilikan jumlah jaring terapung tergantung dari modal yang dimiliki petani ikan hias. ***** This study aims to determine the level of income of freshwater fish farmers in Situ Malang Nengah. The research was carried out in Situ Malang Nengah, Parigi Mekar village, District Ciseeng, Bogor regency. When the study was conducted in September to October 2012. The population in this study are all freshwater fish farmers who cultivated freshwater fish in Situ Malang Nengah. The sample of respondents as many as 68 people. Engineering samples are taken using a sample of the population, where the entire population were sampled. Data retrieval technique using a closed questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is descriptive survey approach, where the data obtained from the study is the percentage frequency table and then the results are described. The result showed as much as 79,41% or 54 respondents had an average income of Rp1.522.200 which was categorized income with income between Rp 954.000 to Rp 2.216.000 per month. While at 20.59% or 14 respondents had an average income of Rp 2.865.900 were categorized high income with a value > Rp 2.282.000 per month. Valuable fish species that sell the type of Koi highest selling price reached Rp 4.000 per cow, the farmer's income from ornamental fish yields are higher, while the type of goldfish have the lowest selling price of between Rp 300 - Rp 750. For possession of a floating net amount, the more the number of nets floating ornamental fish growers, the greater the opportunity for the cultivation of ornamental fish in greater numbers, most floating net ownership is at least 25 pieces and 2 pieces of floating nets, but the selection species of fish seed prices also vary depending on the ownership of floating net amount of capital owned by ornamental fish farmers.
