Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penguatan karakter peduli lingkungan melalui program PHBS pada siswa SMPN 242 Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, kuesioner, dan kepustakaan. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik simple random sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 63 responden dari 252 populasi siswa kelas VII SMPN 242 Jakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program PHBS telah memberikan efektivitas yang dapat diketahui berdasarkan tiga indikator yaitu hasil, efisien, dan keadaptasian. Pemberian penguatan karakter peduli lingkungan terkuat berada pada model pengajaran. Sementara untuk enam indikator program PHBS yang telah diimplementasikan oleh siswa, indikator terkuat berada pada indikator tidak merokok di sekolah. This research aim to describe strengthening the character of environmental care through the PHBS program in SMPN 242 Jakarta students. This study uses quantitative descriptive methods with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, documentation, questionnaires, and literature. Sampling technique are carried out with simple random sampling technique with a sample count of 63 respondents from 252 populations of students of class VII SMPN 242 Jakarta. The results showed that the PHBS program has provided effectiveness that can be known based on three indicators, namely results efficiency, and adaptability. The provision of strengthening the strongest environmental care character is in the teaching model. As for the six indicators of the PHBS program that have been implemented by students, the strongest indicator is the indicator of not smoking in schools.
