Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan trend cashless di kalangan mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Sosial Universitas Negeri Jakarta angkatan 2018. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian deskriptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan subjek penelitian yaitu mahasiswa aktif FIS UNJ angkatan 2018. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa trend cashless di Fakultas Ilmu Sosial Universitas Negeri Jakarta berkembang sangat pesat dan diterapkan dalam kehidupan mereka sehari-hari mulai dari memenuhi kebutuhan hidup yang berawal dari adanya ajakan teman hingga menimbulkan niat mahasiswa. Adapun jenis e-wallet yang banyak digunakan mahasiswa adalah Shopeepay karena dinilai lebih mudah, praktis, dan faktor promo yang lebih besar dibandingkan e-wallet lain yang sejenis. The purpose of this study is to describe the cashless trend among students of the Faculty of Social Sciences, State University of Jakarta, batch 2018. The research method used is descriptive research. This study uses a purposive sampling technique and the research subject is an active student of FIS UNJ class 2018. The results show that the cashless trend in the Faculty of Social Sciences, State University of Jakarta is growing very rapidly and is applied in their daily lives, starting from meeting the necessities of life to becoming a new lifestyle. The type of e-wallet that is widely used by students is Shopeepay because it is considered easier, more practical, and can be used anytime and anywhere compared to other similar e-wallets.
