Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keberadaan hubungan antara pendidikan politik yang diselenggarakan melalui SKPP tingkat dasar tahun 2021 dengan pemahaman pengawasan partisipatif peserta di wilayah DKI Jakarta. Penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional ini melibatkan 78 peserta yang diambil dari jumlah populasi sebanyak 100 peserta dengan teknik proportional random sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan terdiri dari alat tes berupa soal pilihan ganda untuk variabel pendidikan politik dan kuesioner berupa pernyataan untuk variabel pemahaman pengawasan partisipatif yang didistribusikan melalui google formulir. Instrumen penelitian yang telah dibuat kemudian diuji, sehingga menghasilkan 36 butir soal yang valid dan reliabel untuk masing-masing variabel. Selanjutnya, data yang diperoleh juga dianalisis dengan uji normalitas dan linearitas untuk memenuhi prasyarat analisis data. Hasil uji normalitas dan linearitas menunjukkan bahwa data pada kedua variabel telah terdistribusi normal dan linear, sehingga layak untuk dilakukan uji hipotesis. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan politik memiliki hubungan dengan pemahaman pengawasan partisipatif. Hal ini terbukti dari hasil perhitungan uji korelasi product moment dimana rhitung 0,935 > rtabel 0,222 dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut adalah terdapat hubungan positif, sangat kuat dan signifikan antara pendidikan politik dengan pemahaman pengawasan partisipatif pada peserta SKPP tingkat dasar Bawaslu Provinsi DKI Jakarta tahun 2021. Dengan demikian, penyelenggaraan pendidikan politik yang berkualitas akan berjalan beriringan dengan peningkatan kapasitas pemahaman masyarakat terkait pengawasan Pemilu yang bersifat partisipatif. ***** This study aims to determine the correlation between political education organized through the 2021 entry level SKPP and the understanding of participatory monitoring. Quantitative research with correlational method involved 78 participants drawn from a total population of 100 participants with a proportional random sampling technique. The research instruments used consisted of test kits in the form of multiple-choices questions for political education variables and questionnaires for participatory monitoring understanding variables distributed through google forms. The research instruments that have been made are then tested, resulting in 36 valid and reliable question items for each variable. Furthermore, the data obtained are tested with normality and linearity tests to meet the prerequisites of data analysis. The results of the normality and linearity test showed that the data on the two variables studied have been distributed normally and linearly, so it is feasible to test the hypothesis. The results of hypothesis testing indicate that there is a correlation between political education and the understanding of participatory monitoring. This is quite evident based on the calculation results of the product moment correlation test where the rcount is 0.935 > rtable 0.222 with a significant value of 0,000. The conclusion that can be drawn based on the results of the study is that there is a positive, very strong and significant relationship between political education and the understanding of participatory monitoring in the participants of the entry level SKPP Bawaslu DKI Jakarta Province in 2021. This means that implementation of quality political education will go hand in hand with increasing public understanding capacity.
