Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan karena adanya hal menarik dari ketiga orang tua di Desa SumberJaya RT. 08 RW. 08 Kecamatan Tambun Selatan. Hal menarik tersebut sumber pemahaman ketiga orang tua terhadap pendidikan prophetic parenting itu sama, yaitu buku yang berjudul Pendoman Pendidikan Anak dalam Islam karya Dr. Abdullah Nashih Ulwan. Namun sumber yang sama dari ketiga orang tua tersebut belum tentu sama dalam penerapannya bisa jadi akan terlihat berbeda penerapan yang dilakukan. Selain itu semangat ketiga orang tua tersebut mendidik anak secara islami dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai agama, sama seperti orang tua di Indonesia saat ini mereka juga memiliki semangat yang tinggi dalam mendidik anak secara islami. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan memberikan pemahaman secara praktiknya dalam mendidik dan mengasuh anak secara islami. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus pada orang tua di Desa SumberJaya RT. 08 RW. 08 Kec. Tambun Selatan. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dengan wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan kuesioner sebagai data tambahan. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pendidikan prophetic parenting yang dikemukakan oleh M. wifaqul Idaini dan Wendi Zarman. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ketiga orang tua secara keseluruhan telah menerapkan lima tahapan pendidikan prophetic parenting dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai agama kepada anak. Lima tahapan yang diterapkan yaitu orang tua terlebih dahulu memberikan teladan kepada anak, pengajaran langsung dari orang tua kepada anak, orang tua membiasakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, memberikan nasihat agar anak istiqomah dalam mengerjakan, serta pemberian apresiasi dan hukuman kepada anak. Terdapat tiga tahapan yang lebih dominan diterapkan oleh ketiga orang tua yaitu orang tua memberikan teladan, orang tua membiasakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, dan orang tua memberikan nasihat kepada anak. Namun secara keseluruhan ketiga orang tua tersebut sudah berusaha menerapkannya dengan kemampuan yang dimilikinya. Penerapan yang dilakukan masing-masing memiliki ciri khas, orang tua pertama dengan membagi waktunya antara mendidik anak dan bekerja. Berbeda pada orang tua kedua menerapkan dengan memberlakukan aturan secara disiplin dan kreatif. Orang tua ketiga menerapkan dengan kasih sayang, sederhana, dan prinsip ikhlas yang diterapkan. Kendala yang dihadapi ketiga orang tua dalam menerapkan pendidikan prophetic parenting yaitu waktu dan kesabaran orang tua terhadap anak. Perubahan positif pada anak yang dirasakan ketiga orang tua sesuai dengan tujuan pendidikan prophetic parenting. ***** This research was conducted because of the interesting things from the three parents in SumberJaya Village, RT. 08 RW. 08 Tambun Selatan District. It is interesting that the source of the understanding of the three parents towards prophetic parenting education is the same, namely the book entitled Guidance for Children's Education in Islam by Dr. Abdullah Nasih Ulwan. However, the same source from the three parents is not necessarily the same in its application, it may look different in the application carried out. In addition, the spirit of the three parents in educating children Islamically in instilling religious values, just like parents in Indonesia today they also have a high spirit in educating their children in an Islamic way. This research was conducted with the aim of providing an understanding in practice in educating and raising children in an Islamic way. This study uses a qualitative type of research with a case study approach to parents in SumberJaya Village, RT. 08 RW. 08 district. South Tambun. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews, observation, documentation, and questionnaires as additional data. The theory used in this research is prophetic parenting education proposed by M. Wifaqul Idaini and Wendi Zarman. The results of this study indicate that the three parents as a whole have implemented five stages of prophetic parenting education in instilling religious values in their children. The five stages applied are parents first setting an example for children, direct teaching from parents to children, parents getting used to daily life, giving advice so that children are constant in their work, and giving appreciation and punishment to children. There are three stages that are more dominantly applied by the three parents, namely parents setting an example, parents getting used to it in daily life, and parents giving advice to children. But overall the three parents have tried to apply it to the best of their ability. Each application has its own characteristics, the first being parents by dividing their time between educating their children and working. In contrast, the second parent applies by enforcing the rules in a disciplined and creative manner. The third parent applies affectionately, simply, and the principle of sincerity is applied. The obstacles faced by the three parents in implementing prophetic parenting education were the time and patience of parents towards their children. The positive changes in children felt by the three parents are in accordance with the goals of prophetic parenting education.
