Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis Virtual Tour dalam meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif peserta didik tingkat SMA kelas X IPS. Penelitian ini merupakan studi eksperimen yang dilakukan di SMAN 54 Jakarta, dengan peserta didik pada kelas X IPS 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X IPS 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Media pembelajaran berbasis Virtual Tour merupakan sebuah media pembelajaran yang dibuat oleh peneliti sendiri. Dimana tujuan pembuatan media pembelajaran ini sebagai inovasi baru di bidang pendidikan.Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimen. Pada sub materi Hidrosfer, kelas eksperimen menggunakan media pembelajaran virtual tour, sedangkan kelas kontrol menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis video. Data yang diperoleh berasal dari nilai Pre- Test dan Post-Test kemampuan kognitif yang diberikan pada kedua kelas sebelum dan sesudah masa pembelajaran. Kegiatan pembelajaran ditempuh selama 3 pertemuan. Teknik yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data dibagi menjadi 3, yaitu uji instrumen, uji persyaratan analisis data, dan uji analisis data. Berdasarkan dari hasil pengujian data yang telah dilakukan, penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada nilai kemampuan kognitif peserta didik di kelas eksperimen. Kelas Eksperimen mengalami peningkatan nilai kemampuan kognitif sebesar 15,8 dari 60,7 menjadi 76,5, sedangkan kelas kontrol hanya mengalami peningkatan nilai sebesar 2,9 dari 62,4 menjadi 65,3. Kesimpulan ini juga diambil dari nilai sig. pada independent sample T-test sebesar 0.00 artinya terdapat pengaruh signifikan dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran virtual tour terhadap kemampuan kognitif. ***** This study aims to determine the effect of using Virtual Tour-based learning media in improving the cognitive abilities of high school students in class X Social Sciences. This research is an experimental study conducted at SMAN 54 Jakarta, with students in class X IPS 1 as the experimental class and class X IPS 2 as the control class. Virtual Tour-based learning media is a learning media created by the researchers themselves. Where is the purpose of making this learning media as a new innovation in the field of education. The research uses quantitative methods with an experimental approach. In the sub-material of Hidrosphere, the experimental class uses virtual tour learning media, while the control class uses video-based learning media. The data obtained came from the Pre-Test and Post-Test scores of cognitive abilities given to both classes before and after the learning period. The learning activities were taken for 3 meetings. The technique used to analyze the data is divided into 3, namely instrument test, data analysis requirements test, and data analysis test. Based on the results of data testing that has been carried out, this study shows the results that there is a significant influence on the cognitive abilities of students in the experimental class. The experimental class experienced an increase in the value of cognitive abilities by 15.8 from 60.7 to 76.5, while the control class only experienced an increase in the value of 2.9 from 62.4 to 65.3. This conclusion is also taken from the value of sig. the independent sample T-test of 0.00 means that there is a significant influence in the use of virtual tour learning media on cognitive abilities
