Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Menggambarkan atau mendeskripsikan tentang kondisi sosial ekonomi yang terjadi pada pengemudi gojek di masa pandemi Covid-19, (2) Mendeskripsikan bagaimana strategi memenuhi kebutuhan hidup pengemudi Gojek di masa pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Basecamp Nerogtog Squad Green Village, Kota Tangerang selama tiga bulan dari bulan Mei sampai dengan bulan Juli 2022. Metode penelitian yang menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan studi kepustakaan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 8 orang dari 10 anggota nerogtog squad. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Kondisi sosial ekonomi pengemudi gojek sebelum pandemi Covid-19 berjalan dengan lancar dan baik. Kondisi pengemudi gojek saat ini mengalami perubahan, hal tersebut terjadi akibat adanya pandemi Covid-19. Kondisi sosial ekonomi yang di rasakan pengemudi gojek di masa pandemi Covid-19 yaitu, berdampak pada pendapatan yang menurun akibat peraturan pemerintah yaitu PSBB dan PPKM. (2) Strategi memenuhi kebutuhan hidup yang dilakukan pengemudi gojek dalam memenuhi kebutuhan hidup di masa pandemi covid-19 ada 3 Jenis, yaitu strategi aktif, strategi pasif, dan strategi jaringan. Strategi ini telah diterapkan oleh pengemudi gojek supaya tetap dapat melangsungkan hidup dengan keluarganya di masa pandemi Covid-19. Kata Kunci : Dinamika Sosial Ekonomi, Bertahan Hidup, Gojek, Pandemi Covid-19 ************** ABSTRACT This study aims to: (1) describe or describe the socio-economic conditions that occur to Gojek drivers during the Covid-19 pandemic, (2) Describe how the strategy is to meet the needs of Gojek drivers during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research was conducted at the Nerogtog Squad Green Village Basecamp, Tangerang City for three months from May to July 2022. The research method used a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation, documentation, and literature study. The subjects of this study were 8 people from 10 members of the nerogtog squad. The results of the study show that: (1) The socio-economic conditions of gojek drivers before the Covid-19 pandemic went smoothly and well. The current condition of Gojek drivers has changed, this happened due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The socio-economic conditions felt by Gojek drivers during the Covid-19 pandemic, namely, having an impact on declining income due to government regulations, namely PSBB and PPKM. (2) There are 3 types of strategies to meet the needs of life carried out by Gojek drivers in meeting the needs of life during the COVID-19 pandemic, namely active strategies, passive strategies, and network strategies. This strategy has been implemented by Gojek drivers so that they can continue to live with their families during the Covid-19 pandemic.
