Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menggambarkan situasi proses kepemimpinan di sekolah yang berlandaskan kepercayaan. Melalui penelitian ini, terungkap refleksi kepala sekolah dan wakil kepala sekolah mengenai kepercayaan dalam konteks kepemimpinan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode narrative inquiry untuk memudahkan dalam menjabarkan hasil penelitian dalam bentuk narasi, sehingga pembaca dapat lebih mudah memahami hasil penelitian lewat sebuah cerita. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara akan terungkap rasa percaya, harapan dan kecewa antara kepala sekolah dan wakil kepala sekolah. Analisis dilakukan melalui kegiatan restorying (menceritakan kembali) pengalaman, coding for themes (kodifikasi), penyeleksian transkrip dari catatan lapangan (field notes) yang dituliskan ke dalam kata kunci (field text). Setelah itu, kata-kata kunci tersebut disusun kembali ke dalam kutipan yang merinci situasi kepemimpinan (interim research text). Pada akhirnya, peneliti membuat narasi supaya terbentuk relasi dengan pembaca (research texts). Kepercayaan seperti bayangan yang kabur. Jika sebuah benda diterangi oleh satu cahaya, maka menghasilkan satu bayangan yang jelas. Namun, jika satu benda tersebut diterangi oleh sekian cahaya, maka akan menghasilkan sekian bayangan juga. Artinya, seberapa banyak dan jelasnya bayangan, tergantung dari cahaya (kepercayaan) yang diberikan. ***** This study aims to explain the situation of the leadership process in schools based on trust. Through this study, it is revealed to the reflection of principals and vice principal in respecting to trust leadership. This study uses the narrative inquiry method to simplify to describe results in narrative, so it can be easier to understand the results through a story. Collecting data used interview will reveal the trust, hope and disappointment between the principal and the vice principal. Analysis was carried out through restorying, coding for themes, selecting transcripts from field notes written into keywords (field text). Then, the keywords were rearranged into quotations detailing the leadership situation (interim research text). In the end, the researcher makes a narration in order to form a relationship with the reader (research texts). Trus is like a fleeing shadow. If an object is illuminated by a single light, it produces a clear image. However, if one object is illuminated by so many lights, it will produce so many shadows. That is, how much and clear the shadow, depending on the light (trust) given.
