Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis persepsi guru-guru PAI tentang pengembangan spiritualitas melalui pembelajaran PAI di tiga Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri yang terdapat di Kabupaten Bekasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif-deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan dokumentasi yang dijadikan sebagai sumber data yang valid. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelima guru PAI di tiga Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri di Kabupaten Bekasi belum memiliki persepsi yang baik seputar spiritualitas serta pengembangannya melalui pembelajaran PAI. Dalam indikator kecerdasan spiritual yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu fleksibilitas, kesadaran diri, berpikir holistik, visi dan nilai, serta independen, kelima guru PAI di tiga sekolah memberikan persepsi bahwa spiritualitas dapat dikembangkan melalui pengaitan materi PAI, pemberian nasihat, keteladan dan berbagai kegiatan keagamaan. Tetapi pada kegiatan keagamaan yang diberikan di dalamnya kurang dalam hal pemberian makna dan nilai dimana hal tersebut merupakan tujuan dan inti dari spiritualitas itu sendiri, sehingga dengan kata lain guru-guru PAI cenderung mempersamakan spiritualitas dengan religiusitas. ***** This study aims to describe and analyze the perceptions of PAI teachers about the development of spirituality through PAI learning in three public high schools in Bekasi Regency. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive method with a case study approach, data collection techniques using interviews and documentation are used as valid data sources. The results showed that the five PAI teachers in three public high schools in Bekasi Regency did not yet have a good perception of spirituality and its development through PAI learning. In the indicators of spiritual intelligence used in the study, namely flexibility, self-awareness, holistic thinking, vision and values, and independence, the five PAI teachers in three schools gave the perception that spirituality could be developed through linking PAI materials, giving advice, exemplary and various religious activities. But the religious activities given in it are lacking in terms of giving meaning and value where this is the goal and core of spirituality itself, so in other words PAI teachers tend to equate spirituality with religiosity.
