Abstract

Penelitian ini secara garis besar memiliki tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan konstruksi sosial perilaku PDA yang dilakukan remaja berpacaran di Instagram. Penelitian ini akan menunjukkan bagaimana gambaran konstruksi sosial pemaknaan PDA di instagram bagi remaja dan pemaknaan perilaku PDA oleh remaja berpacaran di instagram dalam masyarakat. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk melihat dampak dari adanya perilaku PDA yang dilakukan remaja di instagram. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pendekatan kualitatif, dengan metode studi kasus. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dokumentasi dan kepustakaan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 6 informan kunci yaitu 6 remaja pengguna instagram yang tidak pernah melakukan perilaku PDA dan 6 remaja pelaku PDA dan 5 orang tua sebagai data triangulasi. Lokasi penelitian ini dilakukan di rumah informan secara tatap muka ataupun melalui zoom dikarenakan situasi pandemi Covid-19 penelitian ini dimulai sejak bulan September 2021 sampai Januari 2022. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa konstruksi sosial perilaku PDA pada remaja berpacaran di instagram menghasilkan makna yang berbeda pada setiap orang yang melihatnya berdasarkan pengalaman dan pengetahuan yang setiap orang dapatkan. Makna muncul karena adanya sesuatu yang diartikan individu melalui pikiran berdasarkan apa yang ia lihat melalui interaksi sosial yang berbentuk pengalaman dan juga simbol-simbol. Pada remaja saat ini yang melihat perilaku PDA tersebut melihatnya sebagai sesuatu yang wajar dilakukan oleh remaja berpacaran. Pewajaran perilaku PDA tersebut dilihat dari bentuk PDA seperti apa yang diperlihatkan oleh remaja. Bentuk PDA yang diwajarkan meliputi, berpegangan tangan, bersandar, merangkul, menggendong, memeluk dan PDA dalam bentuk narasi. Sedangkan bentuk PDA mencium tidak diwajarkan oleh remaja. Pewajaran perilaku PDA oleh remaja menunjukan bahwa perilaku PDA tidak tabu lagi dalam masyarakat, sehingga adanya pergeseran nilai-nilai dan norma yang dijunjung remaja saat ini. ***** This study aims to describe the social construction of PDA behavior carried out by adolescent dating on Instagram. This study will show how the description of the social construction of the meaning of PDA on Instagram for adolescent and the meaning of PDA behavior by adolescent dating on Instagram in society. This study also aims to see the impact of PDA behavior by adolescent on Instagram. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach, with a case study method. Research data obtained through observation, in-depth interviews, documentation and literature. The subjects of this study were 6 key informants, namely 6 adolescent Instagram users who had never performed PDA behavior and 6 adolescents who did PDA and 5 parents as triangulation data. The location of this research was carried out at the informant's house face-to-face or via zoom due to the Covid-19 pandemic situation. This research started from September 2021 until January 2022. The results of this study found that the social construction of PDA behavior in adolescent dating on Instagram produces different meanings for everyone who sees it based on the experience and knowledge that everyone gets. Meaning arises because there is something that is interpreted by the individual through the mind based on what he sees through social interactions in the form of experiences and symbols. Adolescent nowadays who see PDA behavior see it as something that is normal for adolescent to do. The reasonableness of PDA behavior is seen from the form of PDA as shown by adolescents. Forms of PDA that are reasonable include holding hands, leaning, embracing, holding, hugging and PDA in narrative form. While the form of PDA kissing is not normal for adolescents. The normalization of PDA behavior by adolescents shows that PDA behavior is no longer taboo in society, so there is a shift in values and norms that are upheld by adolescent nowadays.
