Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan mikrobiologi mengenai kontaminasi mikroorganisme dengan sikap higienis mahasiswa pendidikan biologi Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret sampai bulan Juli 2022 di Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi, Jurusan Biologi, FMIPA UNJ. Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 62 mahasiswa Pendidikan Biologi angkatan 2019. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif korelasional dengan teknik survey. Sampel penelitian diambil dengan teknik simple random sampling. Data dalam penelitian ini diambil dengan menggunakan test instrumen pengetahuan mikrobiologi mengenai kontaminasi mikroorganisme dan kuesioner mengenai sikap higienis. Hasil penelitian didapatkan persamaan Ŷ = 45,200 + 0,460x dan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,526 dengan signifikansi 0,000 menunjukkan terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara pengetahuan mikrobiologi mengenai kontaminasi mikroorganisme dengan sikap higienis mahasiswa pendidikan biologi UNJ. Pengetahuan mikrobiologi mengenai kontaminasi mikroorganisme berkontribusi sebesar 27,7% dalam menentukan sikap higienis mahasiswa pendidikan biologi UNJ. Kata Kunci: Pengetahuan Mikrobiologi, Kontaminasi Mikroorganisme, Sikap Higienis. ********** The aims of this research is to determine the relationship of microbiological knowledge regarding microorganism contamination with the hygienic attitude of students of biology education at the State University of Jakarta. This research was conducted from March to July 2022 at the Biology Education Study Program, Biology Department, FMIPA UNJ. The sample used is 62 Biology Education students class 2019. The method used is descriptive correlational method with survey technique. The research sample was taken by simple random sampling technique. The data in this study were taken using a microbiological knowledge test instrument regarding microorganism contamination and a questionnaire regarding hygiene attitudes. The results showed that the equation Ŷ = 45.200 + 0.460x and a correlation coefficient of 0.526 with a significance of 0.000 showed that there was a significant positive relationship between microbiological knowledge about microbiological contamination and the hygienic attitude of UNJ biology education students. Microbiological knowledge of microbiological contamination contributed 27.7% in determining the hygienic attitude of UNJ biology education students.
