Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian metode quasi eksperimen (eksperimen semu) bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Penggunaan Masker Campuran Serbuk Pegagan Kering dan Madu Terhadap Pengurangan Jerawat pada Kulit Wajah. Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 12 orang diambil menggunakan Teknik purposive sampling yang dibagi dua kelompok (kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol). Eksperimen dilakukan dengan melakukan tes awal yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi awal jerawat sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan. Sampel diberikan perlakuan berupa pemberian masker campuran serbuk pegagan kering dan madu untuk kelompok eksperimen dan masker campuran bubuk kayu manis dan madu untuk kelompok kontrol setiap 2 kali dalam satu minggu selama 1 bulan. Pengukuran hasil pengurangan jerawat dilakukan dengan mengurangi nilai hasil sesudah perlakuan dengan hasil sebelum perlakuan dilakukan. Hasil pengurangan jerawat sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan dilihat dengan menggunakan alat bantu berupa magnifying lamp. Gambar nyata penampang permukaan kulit dicetak sebagai bukti perbandingan adanya perubahan setelah dilakukan perawatan kemudian dinilai oleh dua orang juri ahli dengan membandingkannya dengan instrumen penelitian. Hasil uji hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji T. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan didapat thitung > ttabel yaitu 9,167 > 1,812, maka Ho ditolak dan H1 diterima pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. Jadi kesimpulannya terdapat pengaruh penggunaan masker campuran serbuk pegagan kering dan madu terhadap pengurangan jerawat pada kulit wajah. Jakarta: Cosmetology Vocational Education Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Jakarta State University. 2020 This research is a quasi-experimental method (quasi-experimental) aimed to determine the effect of the use of a mixture of Centella Asiatica Powder and Honey Against Acne Reduction on Facial Skin. The samples used were 12 people taken using purposive sampling technique which was divided into two groups (experimental group and control group). Experiments carried out by conducting initial tests aimed to determine the initial condition of acne before and after treatment. Samples were given treatment in the form of giving a mixture of dried Centella asiatica powder and honey for the experimental group and a mixture of cinnamon powder and honey masks for the control group every 2 times a week for 1 month. Measurement of acne reduction results is done by reducing the value of the results after treatment with the results before the treatment is done. The results of acne reduction before and after treatment are seen using tools such as magnifying lamp. A real picture of the cross-section of the skin surface printed as evidence of a comparison of changes after treatment is then assessed by two expert judges by comparing it with research instruments. Hypothesis test results are done using the T test. Based on the calculation results obtained t count> t table that is 9.167> 1.812, then Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted at a significance level of 0.05. So the conclusion there is the effect of the use of a mixture of Centella asiatica powder and honey to reduce acne on facial skin.
