Abstract

This research entitled Learning Of Rampak Kendang In Karawitan Study Program At Smkn 10 Bandung. The method used in Rampak Kendang learning is the demonstration method, the demonstration method in this study is a teaching method by the teacher who demonstrates (demonstrates) or displays several demonstrations in front of students about the application of the theories that have been explained. SMK Negeri 10 Bandung is one of the many SMK in Indonesia that are engaged in the arts in the West Java Province, where this program is called the Arts and Creative Industry Expertise Program. One of the arts is Rampak Kendang, Rampak Kendang is one of the traditional musical creations that use drum instruments played by 4 or more people. Although recently Rampak Kendang art is less attractive to the younger generation due to cultural adaptation, the inclusion of western culture and modern art, learning the musical study program at SMKN 10 Bandung, it can develop and maintain traditional arts, especially Rampak Kendang. This Rampak Kendang can reflect that the Sundanese people have a harmonious relationship, and get along, based on cooperation, and happiness. Because those who witness the Rampak Kendang artthey will be entertained and feel happy.   Penelitian ini berjudul Pembelajaran Rampak Kendang Pada Program Studi Karawitan di SMKN 10 Bandung. Metode yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran Rampak Kendang yaitu metode demonstrasi, metode demonstrasi dalam penelitian ini adalah metode mengajar oleh guru yang memperagakan (mendemonstrasikan) atau menampilkan beberapa peragaan didepan siswa tentang aplikasi teori-teori yang telah dijelaskan. SMK Negeri 10 Bandung merupakan salah satu dari sekian Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan di Indonesia yang bergerak dibidang Kesenian di wilayah Provinsi Jawa Barat, dimana kejuruan ini disebut dengan Program Keahlian Seni dan Industri Kreatif. Adapun salah satu kesenian yang ada yaitu Rampak Kendang, Rampak Kendang merupakan salah satu kreasiomusik tradisional yang menggunakanoinstrument kendang yang dimainkan oleh 4 orang atau lebih. Meskipun belakangan ini kesenian Rampak Kendang kurang diminati oleh generasi muda, karena disebabkan oleh adanya adaptasi budya, masuknya budaya barat dan seni modern, namun dalam pembelajaran pada program studi karawitan di SMKN 10 Bandung, mampu mengembangkan dan mempertahankan kesenian tradisional khususnya Rampak Kendang. Rampak Kendang ini dapat mencerminkan bahwa masyarakatoSunda memiliki hubungan yang harmonis, akur, berlandas sikap gotong royong, serta keceriaan, karena bagi merekaoyang menyaksikanokesenian Rampak Kendang ini, akan terhiburodan merasa senang.
