Abstract
Kata kunci: academic self-efficacy, stres akademik, mahasiswa, pembelajaran jarak jauh ***** This study aims to determine the effect of academic self-efficacy on academic stress on students in Jabodetabek during distance learning. The sampling technique is based on non-probability sampling method with purposive sampling technique. The samples obtained was 221 students who live in Greater Jakarta. The measurements used in this study were The College Academic Self-Efficacy Scale from Owen and Froman to measure the academic self-efficacy variable and the Educational Stress Scale for Adolescents from Sun, et al., to measure the academic stress variable. Based on the results of the regression analysis test, it was found that academic self-efficacy does not affect academic, because the p-value (sig. 0,921) > α (0,05), so the hypothesis states that the null hypothesis (Ho) was accepted and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was rejected. Thus, in this study it was found that student academic self-efficacy did not affect the level of academic stress experienced by students in Jabodetabek during distance learning. Keywords: academic self-efficacy, academic stress, students, distance learning
