Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses kreatif. Seperti teori dari David Champbell, kreativitas merupakan suatu kemampuan untuk menciptakan hasil yang sifatnya baru, inovatif, belum ada sebelumnya, menarik, aneh dan berguna bagi masyarakat, begitupun dalam penelitian ini. Pada penciptaan karya tari ronggeng menor, meliputi elemen-elemen tari seperti tema, gerak, tata rias, tata busana, iringan, pola lantai, dan properti. Objek Utama dalam penelitian ini adalah tari ronggeng menor. Penelitian ini dikulik menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan Teknik pengumpulan data wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Kemudian data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif, dengan langkah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan menarik kesimpulan. Sumber data pada penelitian ini adalah Dini Irma Damayanthi sebagai koreografer tari ronggeng menor. Tari ronggeng menor adalah tari yang didalamnya mengandung gerak Sunda dan Betawi, hal tersebut membuktikan kreativitas seorang koreografer sehingga sampai untuk mencptakan tarian dengan dua unsur budaya. Pada prosesnya Irma menggunakan metode penciptaan dari Alma M. Hawkin dengan cara melihat, merasakan, menghayal, kemudian pembentukan. Proses kreatif ini Irma lakukan guna menggagas tarian kreasi baru di Kota Bekasi dengan harapan bisa menjadi tarian identitas Kota Bekasi. Faktor-faktor dari penciptaan karya tari ini adalah faktor lingkungan, sarana, keterampilan, identitas, orisinalitas, dan apresiasi. This study aims to determine the creative process. Like the theory from David Champbell, creativity is an ability to create results that are new, innovative, unprecedented, interesting, strange and useful for society, as well as in this study. In the creation of the Ronggeng Menor, it includes dance elements such as themes, movements, make-up, fashion, accompaniment, floor patterns, and properties. The main object of this research is the Ronggeng Menor. This research was studied using a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques interview, observation, and documentation. Then the data were analyzed descriptively qualitatively, with steps of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The data source in this study was Dini Irma Damayanthi as the choreographer of the Ronggeng Menor dance. Ronggeng menor dance is a dance that contains Sundanese and Betawi movements, this proves the creativity of a choreographer so that it comes to creating a dance with two cultural elements. In the process, Irma uses the method of creation from Alma M. Hawkin by seeing, feeling, imagining, then shaping. Irma did this creative process in order to initiate a new dance creation in the City of Bekasi in the hope that it could become the identity dance of the City of Bekasi. The factors of the creation of this dance work are environmental factors, facilities, skills, identity, originality, and appreciation.
