Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) mengembangkan media pembelajar berupa gambar seri digital untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis deskripsi siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar, 2) mengetahui keeftikfan media dengan mengetahui respon dari peserta didik terhadap media pembelajaran gambar seri digital pada keterampilan menulis deskripsi siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar, 3) mengetahui kelayakan validasi terhadap media pembelajaran gambar seri digital pada keterampilan menulis deskripsi siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian dan Pengembangan atau Reseacrh and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima langkah, yaotu Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation.Penilaian produk media dilakukan oleh tiga ahli (expert review), yaitu: ahli media, ahli materi, ahli bahasa dan uji coba peserta didik. Intrumen yang digunakan berupa kuesioner. Hasil penilaian ahli media memperoleh 84%, ahli materi 82% dan ahli bahasa 83%. Maka berdasarkan kelayakan expert review media pembelajaran gambar seri digital memperoleh skor rata-rata 83% dengan kategori sangat baik. Pada uji coba peserta didik dilakuakn melalui dua tahap yaitu,small group dan field test dengan perolehan skor secara keseluruhan yaitu 85,5% dan memperoleh kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian expert review dan uji coba peserta didik, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran gambar seri digital layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis deskripsi siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar. ***** This study aims to 1) develop learning media in the form of digital series pictures to improve the writing skills of fourth grade elementary school students, 2) determine the effectiveness of the media by knowing the responses of students to digital series picture learning media on the writing skills of fourth grade elementary school students. , 3) to find out the feasibility of validating the digital series picture learning media on the description writing skills of fourth grade elementary school students. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model consisting of five steps, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Assessment of media products is carried out by three experts (expert review), namely: media experts, material experts, linguists and student trials. The instrument used is a questionnaire. The results of the assessment of media experts obtained 84%, material experts 82% and linguists 83%. So based on the feasibility of the expert review of the digital series picture learning media, it obtained an average score of 83% in the very good category. In the student trial, the students went through two stages, namely, small group and field test with an overall score of 85.5% and obtained a very good category. Based on the results of the expert review and student trials, it can be concluded that the learning media of digital series pictures is appropriate to be used as a learning medium to improve the writing skills of fourth grade elementary school students.
