Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan ciri-ciri kecakapan komunikasi interpersonal dalam film Mauvaises Herbes karya Kheiron. Teori yang digunakan pada penelitian ini mengacu pada teori Devito (2013) berupa dua belas ciri-ciri kecakapan komunikasi interpersonal yaitu (1) kesadaran dan perhatian diri, (2) kepekaan budaya, (3) orientasi lain, (4) keterbukaan, (5) metakomunikasi, (6) kedekatan, (7) fleksibilitas, (8) ekspresivitas, (9) empati, (10) sikap dukungan, (11) kesetaraan dan (12) manajemen interaksi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis isi dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif struktural karya sastra berupa unsur intrinsik dalam film seperti plot, penokohan dan latar. Tahap selanjutnya dilakukan interpretasi data terhadap data temuan berupa kata, kalimat, frasa maupun dialog yang mengindikasikan ciri-ciri kecakapan komunikasi interpersonal yang terdapat dalam film Mauvaises Herbes karya Kheiron. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya dua puluh sembilan (29) data dalam film Mauvaises Herbes yang mengindikasikan ciri-ciri kecakapan komunikasi interpersonal. Jika diuraikan secara rinci, dalam dua puluh sembilan (29) kutipan tersebut ditemukan sebanyak 6 kutipan yang mengandung keterbukaan, 5 kutipan yang mengandung sikap mendukung, 3 kutipan yang memiliki ciri kepekaan budaya, 3 kutipan yang mengandung kesetaraan, 3 kutipan yang mengandung kesadaran dan perhatian diri, 2 kutipan yang mengandung empati, 2 kutipan yang mengandung manajemen interaksi, 2 kutipan yang mengandung metakomunikasi, 1 kutipan yang mengandung ekspresivitas, 1 kutipan yang mengandung kedekatan, 1 kutipan yang mengandung orientasi lain, tidak adanya kutipan yang mengandung fleksibilitas. This research aims to describe the theory of interpersonal communications in the film Bad Seeds by Kheiron. The main theory used as a reference in this research refers to the theory of twelve characteristics of interpersonal communications by Devito (2013) such as; (1) mindfulness, (2) cultural sensitivity, (3) other-orientation, (4) openness, (5) metacommunication, (6) immediacy, (7) flexibility, (8) expressiveness, (9) empathy, (10) supportiveness, (11) equality and (12) interaction management. The research method used is content analysis by using a structural approach to literary works such as plot, characterization, and setting. The next step is to interpret the findings of the data in the form of words, sentences, phrases and dialogues that contains interpersonal skills characteristics in the film Bad Seeds by Kheiron. The results of this research shows that there are twenty nine (29) data found in the film Bad Seeds by Kheiron that indicate interpersonal skills characteristics. Described in detail, among the twenty nine (29) data, there are 6 quotations in the form of openness, 5 quotations in the form of supportiveness, 3 quotations in the form of cultural sensitivity, 3 quotations in the form of equality, 3 quotations in the form of mindfulness, 2 quotations in the form of empathy, 2 quotations in the form of interaction management, 2 quotations in the form of metacommunication, 1 quotation in the form of expressiveness, 1 quotation in the form of immediacy, 1 quotation in the form of other-orientation, and absence of quotation in the form of flexibility
