Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pelaksanaan pendidikan feminis yang dilakukan Institut KAPAL Perempuan melalui sekolah perempuan dalam mencegah tindak Kekerasan Dalam Rumah Tangga (KDRT) di Kelurahan Jatinegara Kaum, Kecamatan Pulo Gadung, Jakarta Timur. Dalam penelitian ini, Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis. Peneliti melakukan pengumpulan data dengan teknik purposive sampling dengan melakukan wawancara kepada 1 (satu) Pihak pendamping sekolah perempuan di Jakarta, 4 (empat) ketua sekolah perempuan Jatinegara Kaum, dan 3 (tiga) anggota sekolah Perempuan sekaligus menjadi korban KDRT. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Implementasi Program Pendidikan Feminis terhadap Kekerasan Dalam Rumah Tangga (KDRT) bagi perempuan di Jatinegara Kaum sudah menerapkan tahapan pemberdayaan dengan baik, kemudian menghasilkan kesadaran kritis bagi masyarakat khususnya perempuan sebagaimana teori Paulo Freire. Selain menumbuhkan kesadaran kritis pada perempuan, program ini juga berdampak pada semakin sadarnya perempuan di wilayah riset mengenai hak dan kewajibannya, terutama akan hak dan perlindungan dari pihak lain ketika suami melakukan KDRT, sehingga ketika terjadi KDRT mereka akan mampu mengatasi dengan baik. ---------- The purpose of this study is to find out how the implementation of feminist education carried out by the KAPAL Perempuan Institute through women's schools in preventing acts of Domestic Violence (KDRT) in Jatinegara Kaum Village, Pulo Gadung District, East Jakarta. In this study, the research method used by researcher is a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The researcher collected data using purposive sampling technique by conducting interviews with 1 women's school assistant in Jakarta, 4 leaders of the Jatinegara Kaum women's school, and 3 members of the women's school who were also victims of domestic violence. The results of this study are the implementation of the Feminist Education Program against Domestic Violence (KDRT) for women in Jatinegara Kaum has implemented the stages of empowerment well according to Soekanto's theory and then give more critical awareness for the community, especially women, according to Paulo Freire's theory. In addition to fostering critical awareness in women, this program also has an impact on increasing awareness of women in the research area regarding their rights and obligations, especially regarding the rights and protections of other parties when their husbands commit domestic violence, so when the domestic violence occurs they will be able to handle it well.
