Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jaringan sosial pedagang pakaian bekas di Pasar Senen, Jakarta Pusat. Selanjutnya studi ini akan berfokus pada bagaimana jaringan sosial berkontribusi terhadap kebertahanan pedagang pakaian bekas. Pendekatan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan studi kepustakaan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah delapan orang pedagang pakaian bekas dan empat konsumen pakaian bekas. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dan sekunder berupa dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jaringan sosial kebertahanan yang dilakukan pedagang pakaian bekas meliputi jaringan sosial antar sesama pedagang, jaringan sosial dengan tauke, jaringan sosial dengan pengelola, jaringan sosial dengan keluarga, jaringan sosial dengan konsumen, dan jaringan sosial dengan pemerintah. Terbentuknya jaringan sosial pedagang pakaian bekas dilatar belakangi oleh berbagai permasalahan yang terjadi pada perdagangan pakaian bekas, seperti adanya larangan berjualan pakaian bekas, masalah kesehatan pada pakaian bekas, dan kebakaran yang melanda Pasar Senen. Sementara, faktor pembentuk jaringan sosial pada pedagang pakaian bekas di dominasi oleh jaringan kepentingan. Semakin besar pedagang pakaian bekas menjalin jaringan sosial, maka semakin besar pula peluang para pedagang pakaian bekas dapat mempertahankan usahanya. This study aims to describe the network of used clothing traders in Pasar Senen, Central Jakarta. Furthermore, this studio will support the social network to contribute to the survival of used clothing traders. The approach taken in this research is a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection is done by interviewing, observing, documenting, and studying literature. The subjects in this study were used eight clothing traders and four clothing consumers. This research uses primary and secondary data in the form of documentation. The results of the study showed that The results of the study show that the social network of resilience is carried out by traders using social networks among traders, social networks with tauke, social networks with managers, social networks with families, social networks with consumers, and social networks with government. Involved in the social network of used clothing in the background by various problems that occur in the used clothing trade, such as there are bans on selling used clothing, health problems on used clothing, and fires that hit the Senen Market. Meanwhile, the factors forming social networks in used clothing traders are dominated by interest networks. The greater the used clothing merchants establish social networks, the greater the opportunity for used clothing traders to maintain their business.
