Nadira Arisanty, 2023. Pelestarian Alat Musik Tradisi Sampek Kalimantan Timur di Sanggar Bina Seni Budaya Indonesia Samarinda. Skripsi. Jurusan Pendidikan Musik, Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni, Universitas Negeri Jakarta Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan informasi yang mendalam mengenai pelestarian alat musik sampek Kalimantan Timur di Sanggar Bina Seni Budaya Indonesia Samarinda. Masalah pokok dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana pelestarian alat musik sampek Kalimantan Timur di Sanggar Bina Seni Budaya Indonesia Samarinda. Subjek penelitian ini adalah pelatih, anggota dan peserta di Sanggar Bina Seni Budaya Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, dengan mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara, observasi, studi pustaka, dokumentasi dan pakar. Data penelitian didapatkan dari pengamatan yang mendalam terkait upaya pelestarian alat musik sampek oleh wawancara narasumber, peserta dan pakar. Analisis data dilakukan dengan memberi dan membuat catatan terhadap catatan lapangan, transkrip wawancara dan memberi tanda pada bahan bacaan. Triangulasi dilaksanakan dengan mengamati kembali hasil analisis data dari pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara, studi pustaka dan pakar. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pelestarian sampek di sanggar BSBI terdapat kegiatan pelatihan sampek tatap muka dan daring, pagelaran musik sampek, komunitas festival sampek Samarinda players, sampek sebagai pengiring tarian, mengunggah kegiatan sanggar di social media. Dan rendahnya minat generasi muda disebabkan oleh kurangnya dikenalkan di sekolah formal, kecilnya angka wadah kesenian tradisi, derasnya musik barat di era ini dan kurangnya tenaga pelatih sampek. Department of Music Education, Faculty of Language and Arts, Jakarta State University The purpose of this study is to obtain in-depth information about the preservation of musical instruments to East Kalimantan in the Sanggar Bina Seni Budaya Indonesia Samarinda. The main problem in this study is how to preserve musical instruments to East Kalimantan in the Sanggar Bina Seni Budaya Indonesia Samarinda. The subjects of this study were trainers, members, and participants at the Sanggar Bina Seni Budaya Indonesia. This research uses qualitative descriptive research methods, by collecting data through interviews, observations, literature studies, documentation, and experts. The research data was obtained from in-depth observations related to efforts to preserve musical instruments by interviews of speakers, participants, and experts. Data analysis is carried out by giving and making notes on field notes, transcripts of interviews and marking reading materials. Triangulation is carried out by re-observing the results of data analysis from the collection of observational data, interviews, literature studies and experts. The results showed that the preservation of sampek in the BSBI studio there are face-to-face and online training activities, music performances sampek, festival community sampek Samarinda players, sampek as dance accompaniment, uploading sanggar activities on social media. And the low interest of the younger generation is due to the lack of introduction in formal schools, the small number of traditional art platforms, the torrent of western music in this era and the lack of coaches.
