Abstract

Minat belajar menjadi salah satu faktor internal dari hasil belajar. Hal inilah yang menjadikan minat belajar sangat penting untuk dikaji. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh minat belajar geografi terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas XI peminatan geografi di SMA Negeri 50 Jakarta. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan Ex Post Facto. Populasi pada penelitian ini terdapat pada kelas XI peminatan geografi yang berjumlah 125 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Waktu pelaksanaan penelitian pada bulan Januari sampai Maret 2023. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu persamaan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya pengaruh minat belajar geografi terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas XI peminatan geografi sebesar 13%, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, dengan nilai sig 0,000, maka < 0,05. Adapun minat belajar presentasenya 69% degan kategori kuat. Penjelasan mengenai 4 indikator pun diperoleh, untuk perasaan senang presentasenya sebesar 71% dengan kategori kuat, indikator keterlibatan presentasenya sebesar 66% dengan kategori kuat, indikator ketertarikan presentasenya sebesar 71% dengan kategori kuat, indikator penerimaan atau perhatian siswa presentasenya sebesar 72% dengan kategori kuat. Maka dapat disimpulkan untuk persentase tertinggi dari 4 indikator minat belajar yaitu pada indikator penerimaan atau perhatian siswa dengan perolehan skor 72% kategori kuat. Untuk hasil belajar kognitif siswa diperoleh dari Penilaian Akhir Semester Ganjil (PAS Ganjil), dengan rata-rata yaitu 62, dengan nilai Kriteria Ketuntasan Mininal (KKM) SMA Negeri 50 Jakarta yaitu 70. The Influence of Learning Interest Geography on Cognitive Learning Outcomes of Class XI Students Specializing in Geography at SMA Negeri 50 Jakarta. Thesis. Jakarta : Geography Education Study Program, Faculty of Social Science, Jakarta State University. 2023. Interest in learning is one of the internal factors of learning outcomes. This is what makes learning interest very important to study. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of interest in learning geography on the cognitive learning outcomes of class XI students specializing in geography at SMA Negeri 50 Jakarta. This type of research uses a quantitative descriptive method with an Ex Post Facto approach. The population in this study was in class XI specializing in geography, which consisted of 125 students. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The time for conducting the research is from January to March 2023. The data analysis technique used is a simple linear regression equation. The results showed that there was an influence of interest in learning geography on the cognitive learning outcomes of class XI students specializing in geography by 13%, so it could be concluded that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted, with a sig value of 0.000, then <0.05. The percentage of interest in learning is 69% with a strong category. An explanation of the 4 indicators was obtained, for feelings of pleasure the percentage was 71% in the strong category, the percentage indicator for involvement was 66% in the strong category, the percentage indicator for interest was 71% in the strong category, the indicator of student acceptance or attention was 72% in the strong category . So it can be concluded that the highest percentage of the 4 indicators of interest in learning is the indicator of student acceptance or attention with a score of 72% in the strong category. For students' cognitive learning outcomes obtained from the Odd Semester Final Assessment (Odd PAS), with an average of 62, with a Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) SMA Negeri 50 Jakarta, namely 70.
