Abstract

Adhitya Widyadhana Setiawan, Peran Organisasi AIESEC UNJ Sebagai Learning Organization, Skripsi, Jakarta: Program Studi Sosiologi, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, 2023. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan peran organisasi mahasiswa sebagai learning organization dan memiliki fungsi dalam meningkatkan kemampuan anggotanya, baik hard skill maupun soft skill. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menjelaskan manfaat mengikuti organisasi AIESEC, terutama AIESEC UNJ. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian studi kasus. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap pengurus organisasi AIESEC UNJ periode 2022-2023 dilakukan secara online melalui Zoom Meeting. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan November 2022 hingga bulan Januari 2023 dengan subjek penelitian 8 orang informan, yakni 1 orang ketua, 3 orang kepala bidang, 2 orang anggota, dan 1 orang pembina yang menjadi pengurus AIESEC UNJ periode 2022-2023. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam dengan para informan, serta dokumentasi yang diperoleh secara langsung maupun dari informan. Penelitian ini dianalis menggunakan teori learning organization yang dikemukakan oleh Peter Senge dan teori pertukaran sosial yang dikemukakan oleh Peter M Blau. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebagai organisasi mahasiswa, AIESEC UNJ memiliki peran dalam meningkatkan kemampuan terutama hard skill dan soft skill anggotanya melalui berbagai kegiatan yang diadakan oleh AIESEC UNJ, baik kegiatan internal maupun eksternal. AIESEC UNJ juga memiliki nilai-nilai dan aturan yang diimplementasikan dalam berbagai kegiatan sehingga dapat menjadi wadah belajar bagi anggotanya. Hal tersebut membentuk pola dan sistem dalam organisasi sehingga anggota dapat mendapatkan pengalaman, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan setelah bergabung dengan AIESEC UNJ. Dalam berbagai kegiatan yang berlangsung di AIESEC UNJ, terjadi pertukaran sosial antara anggota dan organisasi, yang menghasilkan imbalan bagi anggota, baik imbalan intrinsik maupun ekstrinsik. This study aims to describe the role of student organizations as learning organizations and have a function in improving the ability of its members, both hard skills and soft skills. In addition, this study also explains the benefits of joining AIESEC organizations, especially AIESEC UNJ. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study research method. This research was conducted on the management of the AIESEC UNJ organization for the 2022-2023 period conducted online via Zoom Meeting. This research was conducted from November 2022 to January 2023 with 8 research subjects, namely 1 chairman, 3 field heads, 2 members, and 1 coach who became the board of AIESEC UNJ for the 2022-2023 period. Data collection was carried out through observation, in-depth interviews with informants, as well as documentation obtained directly or from informants. This research is analyzed using learning organization theory put forward by Peter Senge and social exchange theory put forward by Peter M Blau. The results of this study are that as a student organization, AIESEC UNJ has a role in improving the capabilities, especially the hard skills and soft skills of its members through various activities held by AIESEC UNJ, both internal and external activities. AIESEC UNJ also has values and rules that are implemented in various activities so that it can become a place of learning for its members. This forms patterns and systems within the organization so that members can gain experience, knowledge, and skills after joining AIESEC UNJ. In various activities that take place at AIESEC UNJ, social exchange occurs between members and the organization, which results in rewards for members, both intrinsic and extrinsic rewards.
