Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil evaluasi program studi independen Kampus Merdeka di MyEduSolve. Penelitian ini mencoba menjelaskan apakah pelaksanaan dan hasil dari program studi independen sudah berjalan dengan baik, serta apakah program dapat mencapai tujuannya untuk mempersiapkan generasi yang siap berkarir. Program studi independen merupakan salah satu program Kampus Merdeka yang bertujuan untuk memberikan mahasiswa yang siap kerja setelah lulus kompetensi yang relevan dengan kebutuhan di dunia kerja. Dalam proses pelaksanaan di batch pertama ditemukan hal yang dirasa harus diperbaiki, sehingga diperlukan evaluasi agar dapat menghasilkan program yang lebih baik. Pendekatan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dan didukung oleh data kuantitatif dari hasil kuesioner. Penelitian ini dilakukan sejak November 2022 – Juni 2023 dengan berbasis daring. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentaasi, kuesioner, dan studi pustaka. Informan penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 kategori, yaitu 8 informan kunci dari pihak peserta program pathway dan 1 informan pendukung dari pihak pengelola program studi independen di MyEduSolve batch 1. Untuk memperkuat data, peneliti melaksanakan validasi data kepada tim operator kelas yang memonitor langsung berjalannya pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian evaluasi program studi independen di MyEduSolve menggunakan model Kirkpatrick ini menunjukkan bahwa program telah berjalan dengan efektif dilihat dari kepuasan peserta terhadap aspek yang dikaji. Secara keseluruhan, program memberikan kesan yang menyenangkan dan memuaskan bagi pesertanya sehingga peserta memiliki motivasi untuk belajar dan berkembang, namun tetap terdapat hal yang dirasa kurang memuaskan, seperti jadwal di weekend di salah satu kelas, technical error pada media pembelajaran, sistem booking ujian sertifikasi, kinerja salah satu mentor, dan lain-lainnya. Walau demikian, melalui program studi independent ini meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam mengoperasi software yang dipelajari juga dalam kemampuan personal. Hasil dari belajar ini serta merta diamalkan dan diimplementasikan oleh peserta di kehidupan nyata, seperti ketika menggarap tugas perkuliaan, proyek klien dari jasa freelance, dan lain-lainnya. Terakhir, sertifikasi internasional yang dimiliki peserta merupakan bentuk keberhasilan program. Sertifikasi internasional itulah yang mendorong peserta untuk berkarir di industri yang diminati. Kata Kunci: Evaluasi Program, Studi Independen, Kampus Merdeka, Kirkpatrick, 4 Level Evaluasi This study aims to describe the evaluation results of the independent study program of Kampus Merdeka at MyEduSolve. This study tries to explain whether the implementation and results of the independent study program are going well, and whether the program can achieve its goals of preparing a graduate that is ready for a career. The independent study program is one of the Kampus Merdeka’s programs which aims to form students with competencies that are relevant to the needs of the industry. In the implementation in the first batch, several things needed to be improved, so an evaluation was needed in order to produce a better program. The approach used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach with the Kirkpatrick evaluation model. This research was conducted from November 2022 to June 2023 on an online basis. The technique of data collection are observation, interviews, documentation, questionnaire, and literature review. The informants of this study consisted of 2 categories, 8 key informants from participants of each pathway and 1 organizer of independent study programs at MyEduSolve batch 1 as a support informant. To strengthen the data, the researcher validated the data with the class operator team who directly monitored the progress of the lesson. The results of the independent study program evaluation research at MyEduSolve using the Kirkpatrick model show that the program has been running effectively in terms of participant satisfaction with the aspects studied, such as learning methods, learning media, learning materials, class schedules, organizer and teacher performance. Overall, the program gave a pleasant and satisfying impression to the participants so that the participants had the motivation to learn and develop themselves, but there were still things that were felt to be unsatisfactory, such as the weekend schedule in one of the classes, technical errors in the learning media, the certification exam booking system, the performance of one mentor, and others. However, through this independent study program it encourages an increase in the participants' knowledge and skills in operating the software as well as in personnel skills. This increase in knowledge and skills is also immediately practiced and implemented by participants in real life, such as when working on campus’ assignments, working on client projects from freelance services, and others. Finally, the international certification that the participants have is a form of program success. It is this international certification that encourages participants to have a career in the industry they are interested in.
