Abstract

Ahmad Rizki Kurniawan, Pembentukan Narasi Pandemi Covid-19 Pada Media Berita Detik.Com Menggunakan Metode Textual Network Analysis. Skripsi. Jakarta: Program Studi Sosiologi, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, 2022. Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan media berita dalam memframing pandemi Covid-19 yang melanda dunia dengan kajian utama terkait narasi tentang pandemi Covid-19 yang terbentuk pada media berita Detik.com. Pertama, penelitian ini menjelaskan informasi terkait narasi pandemi Covid-19 yang ada pada media berita Detik.com. Kedua, analisa terhadap diskursus terkait narasi Covid-19 yang terbentuk pada media Detik.com dalam perspektif pandemi Slavoj Žižek. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis teks pada media yaitu textual network analysis. Subek penelitian diambil melalui media berita Detik.com dengan subjudul Covid-19, dengan rentang waktu berita penelitian ini dibatasi pada bulan Maret 2020 hingga Mei 2020. Berita yang dikumpulkan berjumlah 92 berita yang terdiri dari satu berita dari masing-masing satu harinya. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui dokumentasi sekunder melalui media berita Detik.com menggunakan analisa framing dan perspektif pandemi Slavoj Žižek. Hasil penelitian menunjukan pertama, bahwa media berita Detik.com dalam menarasikan pandemi Covid-19 memiliki kecenderungan tidak berpihak dan menyampaikan kondisi pandemi sebagaimana adanya seperti perubahan berbagai aspek baik sosial, ekonomi, maupun budaya secara signifikan. Kedua, media Detik.com sebagai salah satu media yang ikut berperan dalam menyebarluaskan informasi terkait Covid-19 di Indonesia yang termasuk kedalam 10 media teraktif dalam publikasi informasi Covid-19 dan menjadi media nomor satu dalam kategori berita dan informasi dalam narasi terkait dengan diskursus pemerintah menghasilkan dua diskursus yaitu diskursus pemerintah dan kedua yaitu diskursus masyarakat dengan tambahan bagaimana perspektif Zizek dalam dua diskursus tersebut. Hasil signifikan yang akan dilihat dari penelitian ini adalah bagaimana media Detik.com menarasikan berita terkait pandemi Covid-19 yang diberitakan di kanal berita tersebut dan disampaikan kepada masyarakat. This research describes news media framing of the Covid-19 pandemic that has affected the world, with a primary focus on the narrative about the Covid-19 pandemic formed in Detik.com news media. First, this research explains the information related to the narrative of the Covid-19 pandemic found in Detik.com news media. Second, it analyzes the discourse related to the narrative of Covid-19 formed in Detik.com media from the perspective of Slavoj Žižek's pandemic. This research uses a qualitative approach with a text analysis method on media that is textual network analysis. The research subjects were taken from Detik.com news media with the subtitle "Covid-19," and the time frame of the research news was limited from March 2020 to May 2020. A total of 92 news articles were collected, each representing one day. Data for this research were obtained through secondary documentation from Detik.com news media, using framing analysis and Slavoj Žižek's pandemic perspective. The research results indicate that first, Detik.com news media tends to remain impartial and presents the pandemic situation as it is, highlighting the significant changes in various aspects, including social, economic, and cultural aspects. Second, Detik.com, as one of the media actively disseminating information about Covid-19 in Indonesia and being among the top 10 media in Covid-19 information publication, holds the top position in the category of news and information related to government discourse, resulting in two discourses: the government discourse and the societal discourse, with the addition of Zizek's perspective in both discourses. The significant outcome of this research lies in how Detik.com news media frames news related to the Covid-19 pandemic reported on their news channel and conveyed to the public.
