Abstract

Dengan kemajuan teknologi informasi dalam era digital memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan bagi masyarakat. Keberadaan teknologi informasi memungkinkan penyebaran informasi, data, dan pengetahuan dengan cepat dan mudah, terutama dalam bidang pendidikan yang memiliki peran dalam kemajuan suatu sekolah. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara, website SMK Negeri 6 Jakarta sebelumnya sudah tidak aktif, akun administrator hilang, serta tanggapan peserta didik, guru, dan pihak sekolah lainnya merasakan hambatan dalam mendapatkan informasi SMKN 6 Jakarta yang dibutuhkan karena hanya melalui Instagram saja. Faktor lainnya karena kesibukan Kepala Program Multimedia selaku pengelola website sekolah tidak memiliki waktu untuk membuat website SMKN 6 Jakarta yang baru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang user interface dan user experience sistem informasi berbasis web SMKN 6 Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan User Centered Design (UCD) yang terdiri dari 5 tahapan, yaitu plan the human centered design process, specify the context of use, specify user and organizational requirement, produce design solution, dan evaluate design against user requirement. Hasil dari pendekatan UCD berupa purwarupa wireframe high-fidelity yang dirancang menggunakan software Figma. Pengujian dilakukan kepada user menggunakan system usability scale (SUS) dan skala Likert serta menghasilkan rata-rata skor SUS sebesar 84,45 dengan grade A+, tingkat penerimaan user “Acceptable” dan “Best Imaginable” pada peringkat adjective. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, perancangan user interface dan user experience sistem informasi berbasis web SMKN 6 Jakarta telah mencapai standar tertinggi dalam evaluasi kualitas menggunakan metode SUS serta diharapkan dapat menjadi penunjang sumber informasi yang dapat menghubungkan guru, peserta didik, tenaga kependidikan, serta pihak sekolah. ***** Advancements in information technology during the digital era have significantly positive societal impacts. Information technology enables swift and effortless dissemination of information, data, and knowledge, especially in education, a pivotal factor in a school's progress. Interviews revealed that the previous website of SMK Negeri 6 Jakarta was inactive, the admin account was lost, and feedback from students, teachers, and other school members indicated obstacles in accessing vital information about SMKN 6 Jakarta, only available via Instagram. The Head of the Multimedia Program's busy schedule also hindered creating a new website. This study aims to design a user-friendly interface and experience for a web-based information system for SMKN 6 Jakarta. The User-Centered Design (UCD) approach is used, plan the human centered design process, specify the context of use, specify user and organizational requirement, produce design solution, dan evaluate design against user requirement. UCD led to a high-fidelity prototype wireframe made with Figma. User testing, employing System Usability Scale (SUS) and Likert scale, yielded an 84.45 average SUS score, an A+ grade, indicating "Acceptable" and "Best Imaginable" user acceptance levels. Testing results confirm the design's high-quality, meeting standards using the SUS method. The web-based information system for SMKN 6 Jakarta is anticipated to serve as a valuable information source, connecting teachers, students, education staff, and the school itself.
