Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengetahui kelayakan, keterpakaian, dan keefektifan dari media pembelajaran siswa berbasis berpikir mekanis berbentuk aplikasi untuk mata pelajaran sistem pemindah tenaga. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE. Desain informasi dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran siswa berbasis berpikir mekanis didasarkan pada aspek berpikir mekanis. Media pembelajaran siswa berbasis berpikir mekanis dikembangkan sebagai media pembelajaran mobile learning dan dapat digunakan pada sistem operasi Android dan IOS. Hasil uji validasi media pembelajaran menghasilkan bahwa media pembelajaran siswa berbasis berpikir mekanis pada penelitian ini telah memenuhi syarat dan kriteria sebagai media pembelajaran. Hasil uji aplikasi siswa mendapatkan hasil dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”. Pada hasil uji pre – test dan post – test siswa mengalami peningkatkan kemampuan berpikir mekanis setelah menggunakan pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis berpikir mekanis berbentuk aplikasi. Hal itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan media pembelajaran siswa berbasis berpikir mekanis berbentuk aplikasi yang peneliti kembangkan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir mekanis pada siswa SMK. ***** This study aims to develop and determine the feasibility, usability, and effectiveness of student learning media based on mechanical thinking in the form of applications for power transfer systems subjects. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model. Information design in developing student learning media based on mechanical thinking is based on aspects of mechanical thinking. Student learning media based on mechanical thinking was developed as a mobile learning media and can be used on the Android and IOS operating systems. The results of the learning media validation test resulted that student learning media based on mechanical thinking in this study fulfilled the requirements and criteria as learning media. The results of the student application test get results in the "Very Eligible" category. On the results of the pre-test and post-test tests, students experienced an increase in mechanical thinking skills after using the development of learning media based on mechanical thinking in the form of applications. From that, it can be concluded that the development of mechanical thinking-based student learning media in the form of applications that researchers develop can improve the ability to think mechanically in SMK students.
