Abstract

KMPF UNJ memiliki permasalahan dalam hal penyampaian informasi dan promosi, dimana selama ini masih menggunakan cara konvensional dengan pemasangan spanduk dan pembagian formulir pendaftaran yang dilakukan pada masa pengenalan mahasiswa baru. Sementara pemberitaan lainnya seperti pelaksanaan kegiatan, perlombaan, serta kerjasama media partner dibagikan pada media sosial Instagram, dimana platform tersebut memiliki muatan informasi yang terbatas. Dalam hal ini, dibutuhkan sebuah alternatif sistem guna penyampaian informasi yang lebih efisien dengan penghematan waktu dan biaya, yaitu dengan pembuatan website berbasis Content Management System (CMS). Dari berbagai macam variasinya, Wordpress merupakan pilihan yang tepat dengan variasi plugin dalam penambahan fitur, pengadaan struktur baru, dan tools pendukung lainnya yang dapat saling terintegrasi untuk pemeliharaan lanjutan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menghasilkan sistem informasi berbasis website Kelompok Mahasiswa Peminat Fotografi (KMPF) UNJ yang berbasis CMS Wordpress. Pengembangan ini dilakukan dengan metode SDLC Waterfall serta pengujian menggunakan Black Box Testing dan User Acceptance Test. Hasil dari pengujian mendapat 94,6% respon baik serta 100% keberhasilan task secara keseluruhan. ***** KMPF UNJ has problems in terms of conveying information and promotions, which so far have used conventional methods for placing banners and distributing registration forms during the introduction period for new students. Meanwhile, other news such as the implementation of activities, competitions, and collaboration with media partners are shared on Instagram social media, where the platform has limited information content. In this case, an alternative system is needed to deliver information more efficiently by saving time and costs, namely by creating a website based on a Content Management System (CMS). Of the various variations, WordPress is the right choice and is familiar with providing plugins that make it easy to add features, procure new structures, and other supporting tools that can be integrated with each other for continued maintenance. The purpose of this study was to produce a website-based information system for Photography Interest Student Groups (KMPF) UNJ based on Wordpress CMS. This development was carried out using the SDLC Waterfall method and testing using Black Box Testing and User Acceptance Test. The results of the test got 94.6% good response and 100% overall task success.
