Abstract

*ABSTRAK* Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor instrinsik dan ekstrinsik yang memengaruhi minat peserta ekstrakurikuler hoki di SMAN 1 Pejagoan. Topik penelitian ini dipilih karena pentingnya memahami faktor-faktor yang dapat memotivasi siswa untuk tertarik dan berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler hoki. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan menyebarkan angket tertutup kepada peserta ekstrakurikuler hoki di SMAN 1 Pejagoan. Sampel pada penelitian ini melibatkan 69 sampel. Instrumen minat digunakan dan disebarkan melalui google form sebanyak 42 pernyataan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa faktor instrinsik maupun ekstrinsik yang signifikan mempengaruhi minat peserta dalam mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler hoki. Temuan penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang pentingnya faktor-faktor instrinsik dan ekstrinsik dalam mempengaruhi minat siswa terhadap kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Adapun faktor yang paling dominan yaitu faktor ekstrinsik. Minat keseluruhan siswa untuk mengikuti ekstrakurikuler hoki di SMAN 1 Pejagoan tergolong dalam kategori sedang. Dalam konteks ini, sekolah dapat meningkatkan dukungan dan fasilitas yang diberikan kepada peserta ekstrakurikuler hoki, serta melibatkan guru, pelatih, orang tua, dan lingkungan dalam membentuk minat yang positif dan berkelanjutan dalam kegiatan ini. Implikasi temuan ini dapat digunakan oleh sekolah dan pihak terkait dalam merancang strategi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan minat siswa terhadap kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, khususnya hoki di SMAN 1 Pejagoan. Kata Kunci: faktor intrinsik, faktor ekstrinsik, minat, hockey, ekstrakurikuler *ABSTRACT* This study aims to analyze the intrinsic and extrinsic factors that influence the interests of the hockey extracurricular participants at SMAN 1 Pejagoan. This research topic was chosen because of the importance of understanding the factors that can motivate students to be interested in and participate in hockey extracurricular activities. This study used a survey method by distributing closed questionnaires to hockey extracurricular participants at SMAN 1 Pejagoan. The sample in this study involved 69 samples. Instruments of interest were used and distributed via google form as many as 42 statements. The results showed that there were several intrinsic and extrinsic factors that significantly influenced participants' interest in participating in hockey extracurricular activities. The findings of this study provide a better understanding of the importance of intrinsic and extrinsic factors in influencing students' interest in extracurricular activities. The most dominant factor is the extrinsic factor. The overall interest of students in participating in hockey extracurricular activities at SMAN 1 Pejagoan is in the moderate category. In this context, schools can improve the support and facilities provided to hockey extracurricular participants, and involve teachers, coaches, parents and the environment in forming a positive and sustainable interest in this activity. The implications of these findings can be used by schools and related parties in designing effective strategies to increase students' interest in extracurricular activities, especially hockey at SMAN 1 Pejagoan.
