Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan dan menganailisa secara ilmiah mengenai Kesiapan Menulis Anak Usia 4-5 Tahun pada Era Digital di TK KB Kota Bengkulu. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalan penelitian kualitatif menggunakan metode studi kasus. Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu empat orang anak yang bersekolah di TK KB Kota Bengkulu pada kelompok B. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dibantu dengan pedoman yang diadaptasi dari The Beery Buktenica dan Fine Motor Skills & Handwriting Activities For Young Children. Adapun aspek kesiapan menulis dibagi menjadi integrasi visual motor, koordinasi motorik halus, persepsi visual, kemampuan pegangan alat tulis. Berdasarkan empat aspek tersebut diberikan contoh tulisan dalam kegiatan yang dikelompokan bedasarkan aspek. Hasil kegiatan yang dilakukan 4 anak tersebut menunjukan bahwa 2 dari empat anak menunjukan tulisan yang menyerupai contoh tulisan, akan tetapi pegangan alat tulis 2 anak tersebut memengan alat tulis dengan tidak nyaman. Hal itu ditandai dengan pegangan anak yang berubah-ubah karena tangan cepat pegal dan kaku. Sedangkan 2 anak lainnya menunjukan tulisan yang belum menyerupai contoh yang diberikan. Akan tetapi 1 dari 2 anak ini menunjukan pegangan pensil yang tidak cepat berubah seperti 3 anak lainnya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut maka dapat di gambarkan bahwa kesiapan menulis anak usia 4-5 tahun di TK KB Kota Bengkulu belum menunjukan kesiapan menulis yang matang. This study aims to describe and scientifically analyze the Writing Readiness of Children Aged 4-5 Years in the Digital Age in Kindergarten KB Bengkulu City. This research approach is qualitative research using the case study method. The population in this study were four children who attended Kindergarten KB Bengkulu City in group B. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation. This research was assisted by guidelines adapted from The Beery Buktenica and Fine Motor Skills & Handwriting Activities For Young Children. The aspects of writing readiness are divided into visual motor integration, fine motor coordination, visual perception, ability to handle writing instruments. Based on these four aspects, examples of writing are given in activities grouped by aspect. The results of the activities carried out by the 4 children showed that 2 out of the four children showed writing that resembled the writing sample, but the handles of the writing instruments for the 2 children held the writing instruments uncomfortably. This is marked by the child's grip changing because the hands quickly get sore and stiff. While the other 2 children showed writing that did not resemble the example given. However, 1 of these 2 children showed a pencil grip that did not change quickly like the other 3 children. Based on the results of this study, it can be described that the writing readiness of children aged 4-5 years in Bengkulu City KB Kindergarten has not shown mature writing readiness.
