Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi peserta didik di Indonesia masih dikategorikan rendah. Berpikir tingkat tinggi diperlukan untuk menghadapi perkembangan abad 21 yang semakin global. Model pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi yaitu model pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbantuan video perubahan lingkungan terhadap kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Januari – Juli 2023 di SMAN 61 Jakarta. Metode penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian pretest-posttest control group design. Sampel peneliti berjumlah 64 peserta didik dengan masing-masing kelas berjumlah 32 peserta didik yang diperoleh menggunakan simple random sampling. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbantuan video perubahan lingkungan terhadap kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Berdasarkan penelitian ini maka model pembelajarna berbasis masalah (PBL) dapat diterapkan sebagai salah satu model pembelajaran yang mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi.*****The higher order thinking skills of students in Indonesia are still relatively low. Higher order thinking skills is needed to deal with the development of the 21st century which is increasingly globaly. The learning model that can improve higher order thinking skills is the problem based learning model. This study aims to determine the effect of problem based learning models assisted by environmental change videos on higher order thinking skills. This research was conducted from January – July 2023 at SMAN 61 Jakarta. This research use quasi-experimental research method with the pretest-posttest control group design. The sample in this research consisted of 64 students with 32 students in each class obtained using simple random sampling. The results of the study can be interpreted that there is an effect of problem-based learning models assisted by environmental change videos on higher order thinking skills. Based on this research, the problem-based learning model (PBL) can be applied as a learning model that is able to improve higher-order thinking skills.
