Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kelekatan orangtua terhadap kecerdasan emosional pada remaja akhir di Jabodetabek. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan skala psikologi. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengambilan sampel adalah non probability sampling yaitu purposive sampling dengan jumlah total sampel sebanyak 320 responden remaja akhir di jabodetabek yang berusia 17-22 tahun. Variabel kelekatan orangtua pada penelitian ini diukur dengan alat ukur IPPA (Inventory parent and peer attachment) yang terdiri dari subskala mother attachment dan father attachment. Variabel kecerdasan emosional diukur dengan alat ukur emotional intelligence questionnaire. Pengujian hipotesis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan multiple regression analysis dengan bantuan software SPSS versi 27 yang menghasilkan nilai p sebesar <0.001 artinya lebih kecil dari taraf signifikansi 0.05. dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh kelekatan orangtua terhadap kecerdasan emosional pada remaja akhir di Jabodetabek dengan nilai koefisien regresi sebesar 11.678 yang berarti pengaruh bersifat positif. Maknanya semakin besar penaruh kelekatan orangtua, maka kecerdasan emosional pada remaja akan semakin meningkat. Kelekatan Orangtua memiliki pengaruh sebesar 6.8 % terhadap kecerdasan emosional pada remaja akhir di Jabodetabek sedangkan 93.2 % sisanya disebabkan oleh faktor lainnya. This research was conducted to determine the effect of parent attachment on the emotional intelligence of late adolescents in Jabodetabek. This study uses a quantitative method with a psychological scale. The technique used in the sampling of this study was non-probability sampling, named purposive sampling with a total sample 320 respondents in Jabodetabek aged 17-22 years. Parent attachment variables in this study were measured through the Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment that consisting of subscales mother attachment and father attachment, emotional intelligence variables were measured through the emotional intelligence questionnaire. Testing the hypothesis in this study using multiple regression analysis using SPSS 27. Which produces a value of <0.001 < 0.05 where there is a significant influence between parent attachment on emotional intelligence. As well as the regression coefficient value of 11.678 which means the effect is positive. Meaning that the influence of parent attachment will increase the emotional intelligence in late adolescents. Parent attachment has an influence of 6.8 % on emotional intelligence in late adolescents in jabodetabek while 93.2 % is influenced by other factors.
