Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh body dissatisfaction terhadap kepuasan pernikahan pada wanita dewasa awal di Jabodetabek. Penelitian ini ,dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Responden dalam penelitian ini yaitu 161 wanita berusia 18 – 40 tahun yang sudah menikah, tinggal bersama pasangan dan berdomisili di Jabodetabek. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Body Shape Questionnaire (BSQ - 34) berjumlah 34 item untuk mengukur variabel body dissatisfaction dan ENRICH Marital Satisfaction Scale (EMS) untuk mengukur variabel kepuasan pernikahan. Data diolah dengan menggunakan teknik statistik analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian sig. 0.000 < 0.05 dengan r square = 0.412 dan koef. -0.349 yang menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh negatif body dissatisfaction terhadap kepuasan pernikahan pada wanita dewasa awal di Jabodetabek sebesar 41,2%. This study aims to examine the influence of body dissatisfaction on marital satisfaction in young adult women in the Jabodetabek area. The research employs a quantitative approach with purposive sampling as the sampling technique. The participants in this study consist of 161 married women aged 18 to 40 years, living with their partners, and residing in the Jabodetabek area. The research instruments used in this study include the Body Shape Questionnaire (BSQ-34) comprising 34 items to measure the variable of body dissatisfaction, and the ENRICH Marital Satisfaction Scale (EMS) to measure the variable of marital satisfaction. The data were analyzed using the simple regression analysis statistical technique. The research findings show that the significance value (sig.) is 0.000 < 0.05 with an r-square value of 0.412 and a coefficient of -0.349. These results indicate a negative influence of body dissatisfaction on marital satisfaction in young adult women in the Jabodetabek area, accounting for 41.2%.
