Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran pemilihan pasangan pada dewasa muda yang mengalami quarter-life crisis. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 109 partisipan yang diperoleh menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Metode pengumpulan data diperoleh dengan alat ukur Nine Mate Selection Question oleh Townsend (1993) dan Quarter-Life Crisis Diagnosis Quiz oleh Hassler (2009). Uji analisis statistik yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian ini adalah uji deskriptif statistik. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa tingkat pemilihan pasangan hidup paling tinggi terdapat pada jenis kelamin perempuan dengan mean 38,67, umur 29 tahun dengan mean 43,00, dan memiliki status pekerjaan sebagai wirausaha dengan mean 43,17. Aspek Status Sosial dan Ekonomi menunjukkan variasi paling dengan rentang nilai yang lebih luas. This study aims to investigate the portrayal of mate selection among young adults experiencing a quarter-life crisis. The sample for this study consisted of 109 participants selected through purposive sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out using the Nine Mate Selection Questionnaire developed by Townsend (1993) and the Quarter-Life Crisis Diagnosis Quiz by Hassler (2009). Descriptive statistical analysis was employed to test the research hypotheses. The findings of this research indicate that the highest level of mate selection was observed among females, with a mean of 38.67, manusiaals aged 29 years, with a mean of 43.00, and those employed as entrepreneurs, with a mean of 43.17. The aspect of Social and Economic Status exhibited the greatest variation, with a broader range of values.
