Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui derajat keeratan atau hubungan antara persepsi siswa tentang sense of humor guru dengan motivasi belajar IPS di SMP IP Yakin Jakarta. Waktu penelitian dari bulan Maret 2019 sampai Juni 2019. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif korelasional dan teknik pengambilan sampel dengan proportional random sampling. Jumlah sampel yang diperoleh sebanyak 98 siswa dari keseluruhan populasi yang berjumlah 129 orang. Sampel diambil dari 4 kelas VIII A - VIII D secara acak. Pengujian hipotesis dengan uji keberartian regresi menghasilkan Fhitung 59,946 dan Ftabel 3,94 dapat dinyatakan (59,946 > 3,94) yang berarti persamaan regresi tersebut signifikan. Uji kelinearan regresi menghasilkan Fhitung 1,438 dan Ftabel 3,94 dapat dinyatakan (1,438 < 3,94) yang berarti persamaan regresi tersebut linear. Uji Correlation Product Moment diperoleh rhitung sebesar 0,620. Selanjutnya diperoleh keberartian koefisien korelasi dengan menggunakan uji t menghasilkan thitung 7,742 dan ttabel 1,984 sehingga dapat dinyatakan (7,742 > 1,984). Dengan koefisien determinasi 38,4% yang berarti 38,4% variabel motivasi belajar ips (Y) dipengaruhi oleh variabel persepsi siswa tentang sense of humor guru (X). Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara persepsi siswa tentang sense of humor guru dengan motivasi belajar IPS di SMP IP Yakin Jakarta. This research aims to find out degree of closeness or relation between student perception about teacher’s sense of humor with motivation to learn IPS at SMP IP Yakin Jakarta. Research time from March 2019 to July 2019. The method used in this research is correlation quantitative method and for sampling used proportional random sampling technique. Total sample obtained is 98 student from total population 129 student. The sample is taken from four class (VIII A to VIII D) randomly. Testing the hypothesis with regression significance test yield F 59,946 and Ftable 3,94 or (59,946 > 3,94), which means a significant regression equation. Produce regression linearity test of F 1,438 and Ftable 3,94 or (1,438 < 3,94) which means the linear regression equation. Test product moment correlation obtained r 0,620. The correlation coefficient significance test using t-test produce t 7,742 and ttable 1,984 or (7,742 > 1,984). With coeffisient determination test result 38,4% that means 38,4% motivation to learn IPS variable (Y) is determined by student perception about teacher’s sense of humor variable (X). The result of this research conclude that there’s a relation between student perception about teacher’s sense of humor with motivation to learn IPS at SMP IP Yakin Jakarta.
