Abstract

Sikap toleransi sosial sangatlah penting dimiliki oleh siswa sekolah dasar sebagai bekal hidup di masyakarat agar tercipta kehidupan yang harmonis. Untuk itu diperlukan inovasi dalam pembelajaran agar terbentuk sikap toleransi sosial siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan produk berupa buku cerita digital berbasis kearifan lokal untuk meningkatkan sikap toleransi sosial siswa kelas V sekolah dasar di DKI Jakarta. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui research and development (RnD) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas V sekolah dasar di DKI Jakarta. Sampel sebanyak 135 siswa yang beragam budaya dari SDN Rawamangun 12 Jakarta Timur, SDN Kelapa Gading Barat 01 Jakarta Utara, SDN Menteng 01 Jakarta Pusat, SDN Manggarai 01 Jakarta Selatan, dan SDN Joglo 03 Jakarta Barat yang diambil secara cluster random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket untuk analisis kebutuhan, pedoman wawancara, lembar observasi, dan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Paired Sample T-Test dan Uji N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Buku cerita digital berbasis kearifan lokal telah dikembangkan sesuai model ADDIE; 2) Uji kelayakan oleh ahli materi, ahli media dan desain pembelajaran, ahli budaya, dan ahli bahasa dengan menggunakan Aiken’s V menunjukkan hasil yang layak dengan indeks V > 0.69; 3) Hasil uji efektivitas menunjukkan bahwa buku cerita digital efektif untuk meningkatkan sikap toleransi sosial siswa sekolah dasar di DKI Jakarta pada kategori sedang. Abstract- It is urgent that elementary school students have social tolerance to live with society in harmony. Innovation in learning is therefore required for shaping the social tolerance attitudes of elementary school students. This research is aimed to produce digital short stories applying local wisdom as the basis with a view to promoting social tolerance attitudes of the fifth graders in the elementary schools located in DKI Jakarta. A Research and Development (RnD) using ADDIE model was employed as method of the research and the 5th grade elementary school students in DKI Jakarta were involved as population of the study. 135 students of diverse cultures namely from SDN Rawamangun 12 East Jakarta, SDN Kelapa Gading Barat 01 North Jakarta, SDN Menteng 01 Central Jakarta, SDN Manggarai 01 South Jakarta, and SDN Joglo 03 West Jakarta were selected as samples by means of cluster random sampling. A questionnaire of needs analysis, interview guide, observation sheet, and list of questions were served as the research instruments. Data collected was then analyzed by using Paired Sample T-Test and N-Gain Test. Findings of the research show that: 1) Local wisdom-based digital stories to have been developed has been in accordance with ADDIE model; 2) Feasibility test by experts in material, media and design learning, culture, language using Aiken’s V indicates a feasible result with index V > 0.69; 3) Result of effectiveness test signifies that digital story books have been considered effective in a moderate level to promote social tolerance attitudes of elementary school students in DKI Jakarta.
