Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara optimisme dan dukungan sosial mahasiswa dengan adaptabilitas karier mahasiswa FIP UNJ angkatan 2017 - 2019. Penelitian menggunakan metode korelasi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 308 mahasiswa. Pengumpulan data sampel menggunakan teknik convenience sampling dengan menggunakan instrumen Career Adapt-Abilities Scale (CAAS), Life Orientation Test – Revised (LOT-R), dan Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MPSS). Hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji korelasi berganda dan korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai koefisien korelasi (R) sebesar 0,555 dengan Sig. F Change 0,000 < 0,05 yang menunjukkan berkorelasi. Dengan demikian, optimisme dan dukungan sosial berkorelasi positif dan signifikan terhadap adaptabilitas karier mahasiswa secara simultan. ***** This study aims to knowledge the relationship between optimism and social support with career adaptability of student in Education Faculty at State University of Jakarta 2017 – 2019. This study using correlation method. The sample in this study amounted to 308 students. Data of sample was collected using convenience sampling technique with Career Adapt-Abilities Scale (CAAS), Life Orientation Test – Revised (LOT-R), and Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support(MPSS). The research result was analyzed using multiple correlation test and product moment correlation. The research results show that the correlation coefficient (R) is 0,555 with Sig. F Change 0.000 < 0,05 which shows simultaneous correlation. Thus, optimism and social support are simultaneously positively and significantly correlated with student career adaptability.
