Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar mnggunakan media scramble. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas dengan model Kemmis dan Mc.Taggart. Teknik pengambilan data yang digunakan adalah pengamatan, tes dan dokumentasi. Data kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif untuk data pemantauan dan deskriptif kuantitatif untuk data tes. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan adanya peningkatan penguasaan kosakata yang ditandai meningkatnya hasil tes dari siklus 1 memiliki nilai rata-rata 63 dengan persentase 66,7% siswa tuntas dan siklus 2 memiliki nilai rata-rata 77 dengan persentase 86,7% siswa yang tuntas. Dapat disimpulkan media scramble dapat meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata bahasa Indonesia materi homonim. ***** This study aims to improve the mastery of Indonesian vocabulary of grade IV elementary school students using scramble media. This research uses classroom action research method with Kemmis and Mc.Taggart model. The data collection techniques used were observation, test and documentation. The data was then analyzed descriptively qualitative for monitoring data and descriptive quantitative for test data. The results of this study showed an increase in vocabulary mastery which was marked by increasing test results from cycle 1 which had an average score of 63 with a percentage of 66.7% complete students and cycle 2 had an average score of 77 with a percentage of 86.7% complete students. It can be concluded that scramble media can improve mastery of Indonesian vocabulary on homonym material.
