Abstract
Reyhan Akbar 2024. Media Matching Card Games untuk meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata bahasa Jepang pada anak-anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji potensi penggunaan media Matching Card Games dalam meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata bahasa Jepang pada anak-anak. Dengan merinci teknis permainan Matching Card Games, penelitian ini menggambarkan bagaimana kartu-kartu berisi kata-kata dalam bahasa Jepang di satu kartu dan terjemahan atau gambar yang sesuai di kartu yang lain dapat digunakan secara efektif. Temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa teknis permainan tersebut mampu memberikan pengalaman pembelajaran yang interaktif dan menarik bagi anak-anak, memudahkan mereka dalam memahami dan mengingat kosakata bahasa Jepang. Penelitian ini mengusulkan penggunaan media Matching Card Games sebagai pendekatan interaktif dan kreatif untuk meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata bahasa Jepang pada anak-anak. Melalui integrasi media ini ke dalam kurikulum, diharapkan dapat mengatasi kesulitan yang sering dialami anak-anak dalam mempelajari kosakata. Media interaktif ini juga menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang menyenangkan dan dapat membangun motivasi tinggi untuk berpartisipasi dalam pembelajaran bahasa Jepang. Keseluruhan, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pemahaman tentang potensi Matching Card Games sebagai media interaktif dalam pengajaran kosakata bahasa Jepang pada tingkat anak-anak. The use of Matching Card Games media to enhance Japanese language vocabulary proficiency in children. This research is motivated by the difficulties children face in mastering Japanese language vocabulary. The focus of this study is the technique of using Matching Card Games as a learning medium to enhance proficiency in Japanese language vocabulary. Matching Card Games is a form of learning media that uses paired cards, where the first card contains Japanese vocabulary and the second card contains its translation. The number of cards is adjusted based on the number of players and the level of vocabulary learned. For example, the number of card pairs can be adapted to the number of individual learners, pairs, and groups. This media can be used in various formats, including group games, paired games, and individual games, allowing children to compete to complete the game by correctly matching Japanese vocabulary cards with their translations. This research also discusses the potential use of Matching Card Games as an innovative media to enhance Japanese language vocabulary proficiency in children. The objective of this research is to identify techniques for using Matching Card Games that can improve Japanese language vocabulary proficiency in children and to explain how this media can be proposed as an innovative solution to enhance Japanese language skills at the children's level. The research methodology employs a literature review approach by collecting data from various journals and online articles. The results of this study indicate that Matching Card Games can be played with three technical variations of the game (individual, paired, and group) and three vocabulary variations as game materials (vocabulary, letters, numbers, and Japanese characters). Matching Card Games media can be considered as an interactive, enjoyable, and motivating solution to enhance Japanese language vocabulary proficiency in children.
