Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai upaya meningkatkan motivasi belajar sejarah siswa kelas XI-A SMAN 11 Jakarta melalui media virtual tour museum. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah 1) mengetahui bagaimana penerapan media virtual tour museum dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar sejarah siswa di kelas XI-A SMA Negeri 11 Jakarta dengan menerapkan media virtual tour museum 2) Melihat apakah penerapan media virtual tour museum mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar sejarah siswa kelas XI-A SMA Negeri 11 Jakarta. Adapun virtual tour museum yang digunakan, yaitu virtual tour Museum Benteng Vredeburg, Virtual Tour Museum Perumusan Naskah Proklamasi, dan Virtual Tour Museum TNI AD. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam kurun periode tiga bulan dari Januari hingga Maret 2024 di kelas XI-A SMA Negeri 11 Jakarta yang berjumlah 36 siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan pelaksanaan tiga siklus yang menggunakan empat tahapan, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Dalam penelitian ini tenaga pendidik yaitu guru sejarah SMA Negeri 11 Jakarta bergerak sebagai kolaborator dan peneliti menjalankan tugasnya sebagai peneliti. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat peningkatan motivasi belajar sejarah siswa. Pada kegiatan pra-siklus didapatkan tingkat motivasi belajar sejarah siswa berdasarkan indikator adalah 44,25% atau dalam kategori motivasi belajar kurang sekali. Pada siklus I penggunaan virtual tour museum mengalami permasalahan berupa antusiasme peserta didik, permasalahan teknis, dan kurangnya penjelasan yang diberikan oleh guru yang menyebabkan tingkat motivasi belajar peserta didik sebesar 66,7% atau dalam kategori cukup, kemudian pada siklus II motivasi belajar sejarah siswa mengalami peningkatan sebesar 74,9% atau dalam kategori cukup, yang disebabkan adanya permasalahan teknis, kurangnya pembagian waktu, dan kendala dalam operasional virtual tour museum. Siklus III tingkat motivasi belajar siswa sebesar 80,8% atau dalam kategori baik. Hal ini didorongkan oleh peserta didik yang telah memahami konsep kegiatan pembelajaran, mampu mengoperasionalkan virtual tour museum, dan adanya antusiasme serta keaktifan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media virtual tour museum mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar sejarah siswa kelas XI-A SMA Negeri 11 Jakarta pada materi dampak kependudukan Jepang di Indonesia. This research discusses efforts to increase the history learning motivation of class XI-A students at SMAN 11 Jakarta through virtual museum tour media. The aims of this research are 1) to find out how the application of virtual tour museum media increases students' history learning motivation in class XI-A SMA Negeri 11 Jakarta. The virtual museum tours used are the virtual tour of the Fort Vredeburg Museum, the Virtual Tour of the Museum for the Formulation of Proclamation Manuscripts, and the Virtual Tour of the Indonesian Army Museum. This research was carried out over a three month period from January to March 2024 in class XI-A of SMA Negeri 11 Jakarta, totaling 36 students. The research method used in this research is classroom action research (PTK) with the implementation of three cycles using four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. In this research, the teaching staff, namely the history teacher at SMA Negeri 11 Jakarta, acted as collaborators and carried out their duties as researchers. This research shows that there is an increase in students' motivation to learn history. In the pre-cycle activities, it was found that the level of students' motivation to learn history based on indicators was 44.25% or in the category of very low learning motivation. In the first cycle of use virtual tour the museum experienced problems in the form of student enthusiasm, technical problems, and a lack of explanation given by teachers which caused the level of student learning motivation to be 66.7% or in the sufficient category, then in cycle II students' history learning motivation increased by 74.9% or in the sufficient category, which is due to technical problems, lack of time allocation, and operational constraints virtual tour museum. In cycle III, the level of student learning motivation was 80.8% or in the good category. This is driven by students who understand the concept of learning activities and are able to operationalize virtual tour museums, and enthusiasm and activeness in learning activities. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the virtual museum tour media is able to increase the history learning motivation of class XI-A students at SMA Negeri 11 Jakarta on the impact of the Japanese occupation in Indonesia.
