Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan persepsi orang tua pada sistem zonasi PPDB dan alasan orang tua peduli dengan sistem zonasi PPDB. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah orang tua peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 7 Jakarta Tahun Ajaran 2022/2023 yang telah diterima melalui sistem zonasi dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 55 sampel dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui angket atau kuesioner, wawanacara, studi kepustakaan dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, bahwa persepsi orang tua pada sistem zonasi PPDB dapat dilihat berdasarkan tiga aspek, yaitu aspek kognitif, aspek afektif dan aspek konatif. Data menunjukkan bahwa persepsi orang tua dalam aspek kognitif atau pengetahuan terhadap kebijakan PPDB dalam kategori baik, pada aspek afektif atau perasaan orang tua terhadap jarak domisili CPDB dalam keadaan baik. Serta, pada aspek konatif atau tingkah laku atau cara bersikap masyarakat terhadap kebijakan PPDB dan jarak domisili CPDB dalam kategori baik. Kemudian, alasan orang tua peduli dengan sistem zonasi adalah agar memudahkan anak-anak mereka dalam menempuh perjalanan ke sekolah. This study aims to describe parents' perceptions of PPDB zoning systems and why parents care about PPDB zone systems. The research methods used in this study are descriptive methods with a quantitative approach. The population in this study is the parents of the students of the eighth grade of the State High School 7 Jakarta Teaching Year 2022/2023 who have been received through the zoning system with a sample of research of 55 samples with data collection techniques through lifts or questionnaires, surveys, library studies and documentation. The results of the research show that the perception of parents on the PPDB zoning system can be seen based on three aspects, namely the cognitive, affective and connative aspects. The data shows that parents' perceptions in the cognitive aspect or knowledge of PPDB policies are in the good category, in the affective aspect or parents' feelings regarding the distance from CPDB domicile in good condition. Also, in the conative or behavioral aspect or the way the community behaves towards PPDB policies and CPDB domicile distance in the good category. Then, the reason parents care about the zoning system is to make it easier for their children to travel to school.
