Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk interaksi parasosial yang terjadi pada penggemar boygruop NCT melalui media sosial X. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi kepustakaan. Subjek dari penelitian ini terdiri dari 7 orang penggemar boygroup NCT yang aktif menggunakan media sosial X. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) bentuk interaksi parasosial yang terjadi adalah bentuk ketertarikan dengan idola berdasarkan kemampuan dan bakat yang ditampilkan melalui media (task attraction), bentuk ketertarikan yang terus berkembang sehingga penggemar ingin menjadi seperti idolanya (identification attraction), dan bentuk ketertarikan pada penggemar untuk memiliki hubungan yang lebih dengan idolanya (romantic attraction). (2) efek dari interaksi parasosial yaitu sense of compansionship, pseudo friendship, guidelines in behavior, personal identity, pathologic audience, dan konsumtif yang tejadi dalam diri penggemar boygroup NCT. This study aims to determine the form of parasocial interactions that occur in NCT boygroup fans through social media X. The type of research used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in this study through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study. The subjects of this study consisted of 7 fans of the boy band NCT who actively use social media X. The results of this study indicate that: (1) the fans of the boygroup NCT use social media X. The results showed that: (1) the form of parasocial interaction that occurs is a form of attraction to idols based on the abilities and talents displayed through the media (task attraction), a form of attraction that continues to develop so that fans want to be like their idols (identification attraction), and a form of attraction to fans to have more relationships with their idols (romantic attraction). (2) the effects of parasocial interactions, namely sense of compansionship, pseudo friendship, guidelines in behavior, personal identity, pathologic audience, and consumptive that occur in NCT boygroup fans.
