Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penggunaan modul pelatihan geografi kebencanaan terhadap kesiapsiagaan bencana alam pada peserta didik kelas VII SMP Yayasan Bukit Utara. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Sampel yang dipakai adalah peserta didik kelas VII SMP Yayasan Bukit Utara. Pengujian hipostesis penelitian menggunakan Uji Independent Sample Test dan N-Gain Score. Berdasarkan hasil uji instrumen, penelitian dinyatakan valid dan reliabel. Berdasarkan hasil uji analisis, penelitian dinyatakan normal dan homogen. Hasil uji Independent Sample Test mendapatkan hasil signifikasi sebesar 0.000<0,05. Hasil uji N-Gain Score menunjukkan bahwa keefektifan penggunaan modul pelatihan perhitungan N-Gain adalah 81,1% dikategorikan efektif. Hal tersebut dapat terlihat dari rata-rata nilai post-test kelas eksperimen yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak, yang berarti terdapat perbedaan efektivitas penggunaan modul pelatihan geografi kebencanaan kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol terhadap kesiapsiagaan bencana alam peserta didik kelas VII SMP Yaskitta sebesar 48,07%. Kata Kunci: Efektivitas, Penggunaan, Modul Pelatihan, Geografi Kebencanaan, Kesiapsiagaan ***** The research aims to determine the effectiveness of using the disaster geography training module on natural disaster preparedness for class VII students at Bukit Utara Foundation Middle School. The research uses quantitative methods with a descriptive approach. The sample used was class VII students at Bukit Utara Foundation Middle School. Testing the research hypothesis uses the Independent Sample Test and N-Gain Score. Based on the instrument test results, the research was declared valid and reliable. Based on the results of the analysis test, the research was declared normal and homogeneous. The Independent Sample Test results obtained a significance result of 0.000<0.05. The N-Gain Score test results show that the effectiveness of using the N-Gain calculation training module is 81.1%, suggesting it is effective. This can be seen from the average post-test score for the experimental class which is higher than the control class. So it can be concluded that Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected, which means that there is a difference in the effectiveness of using the disaster geography training module for the experimental class and the control class for natural disaster preparedness for class VII students at Yaskitta Middle School, amounting to 48.07%.
