Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan dukungan sosial dengan adaptabilitas karier pada mahasiswa Pendidikan IPS Fakultas Ilmu Sosial UNJ Angkatan 2020 dan 2021. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang diterapkan adalah probability sampling dengan pendekatan simple random sampling dengan jumlah sampel 118 mahasiswa dari jumlah populasi 167 mahasiswa. Berdasarkan uji koefisien korelasi yang telah dilakukan, hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 dan nilai korelasi sebesar 0,380, artinya terdapat hubungan dukungan sosial (X) dengan adaptabilitas karier (Y) pada mahasiswa Pendidikan IPS Fakultas Ilmu Sosial UNJ Angkatan 2020 dan 2021. Hal ini menandakan bahwa jika dukungan sosial meningkat, maka adaptabilitas karier akan meningkat, dan sebaliknya. ***** This study aims to determine the correlation between social support and career adaptability in social studies education students, Faculty of Social Sciences, UNJ, Class of 2020 and 2021. The research method used in this research is quantitative research method. The sampling technique applied is probability sampling with a simple random sampling approach with a sample size of 118 students from a population of 167 students. Based on the correlation coefficient test that has been carried out, the results show a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a correlation value of 0.380, meaning that there is a correlation between social support (X) and career adaptability (Y) in social studies education students, Faculty of Social Sciences, UNJ, Class of 2020 and 2021. This indicates that if social support increases, then career adaptability will increase, and vice versa.
