Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kepercayaan diri peserta didik yang mengalami fatherless dalam bersosialisasi di SMP Negeri 28 Jakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VII yang mengalami fatherless yang berasal dari SMP Negeri 28 Jakarta. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama empat bulan, mulai dari bulan Februari sampai dengan Mei 2024. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kepercayaan diri peserta didik dalam bersosialisasi terbagi menjadi dua kategori, yaitu mempunyai kepercayaan diri dan tidak mempunyai kepercayaan diri. Kepercayaan diri peserta didik dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, termasuk faktor keluarga, faktor sekolah, faktor lingkungan sekitar, dan karakteristik individu. Peserta didik yang mempunyai kepercayaan diri menunjukkan adanya dukungan emosional baik itu dari keluarga, teman, dan pola pikirnya yang tentunya akan membantu mereka dalam bersosialisasi. Sedangkan, peserta didik yang tidak mempunyai kepercayaan diri menunjukkan kurangnya dukungan emosional baik dari keluarga, teman, dan pola pikir yang menyebabkan mereka kesulitan dalam bersosialisasi dengan orang lain. ***** This study aims to analyze the self-confidence of students experiencing fatherlessness in social interactions at SMP Negeri 28 Jakarta. The research method used is qualitative, with data collection techniques including interviews, observations, and documentation. The subjects of this study are seventh-grade students experiencing fatherlessness from SMP Negeri 28 Jakarta. The study was conducted over four months, from February to May 2024. The results of this study indicate that students' self-confidence in social interactions is divided into two categories: those who have self-confidence and those who do not. Students' selfconfidence is influenced by various factors, including family, school, surrounding environment, and individual characteristics. Students with self-confidence exhibit emotional support from family, friends, and their mindset, which helps them in socializing. On the other hand, students without self-confidence show a lack of emotional support from family, friends, and mindset, making it difficult for them to socialize with others.
