Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh aspek teman sebaya terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 74 Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan metode survey melalui kuesioner yang diukur dengan skala likert. Dalam penelitian ini, jumlah sample yang digunakan sebanyak 70 siswa SMPN 74 Jakarta yang dipilih melalui teknik pengambilan data simple random sampling. Semua instrumen telah di uji cobakan menggunakan korelasi product moment dan reliabilitas menggunakan alpha cronbach, serta telah lulus dari uji prasyarat. Analisis data menggunakan uji t dan persentase besar pengaruh menggunakan koefisien determinasi R Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) ada pengaruh yang signifikan aspek teman sebaya terhadap motivasi belajar dibuktikan dari nilai thitung > ttabel yaitu 8,896 > 1,995 dan Sig < 0,05 yaitu 0,000 < 0,05. (2) Besar pengaruh Koefisien determinasi R square yaitu 53,8 % yang termasuk pada ketegori sedang dan sisanya merupakan pengaruh dari variabel lain diluar variabel yang digunakan. This study uses a quantitative method with a survey method through a questionnaire measured by a Likert scale. In this study, the number of samples used was 70 students of SMPN 74 Jakarta who were selected through a simple random sampling data collection technique. All instruments have been tested using product moment correlation and reliability using alpha cronbach, and have passed the prerequisite test. Data analysis using t-test and large percentage influence using R Square determination coefficient. The results of the study show that (1) there is a significant influence of peers aspects on learning motivation as evidenced by the tcount value of the ttable > which is 8,896 > 1,995 and Sig < 0.05 which is 0.000 < 0.05. (2) The influence of the R square determination coefficient is 53.8% which is included in the medium category and the rest is the influence of other variables outside the variables used.
