Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi pencegahan perkawinan usia anak di Kelurahan Kampung Melayu. Pendekatan kualitatif dilakukan dalam penelitian ini dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Wawancara dilakukan kepada enam informan, satu key informan dan seorang expert. Temuan dalam penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa strategi yang dilakukan Pemerintahan Kelurahan Kampung Melayu dalam mencegah perkawinan usia anak adalah penyuluhan mengenai Undang Undang nomor 16 tahun 2019 tentang perubahan atas Undang Undang nomor 1 tahun 1974, sosialisasi dampak perkawinan usia anak, kampanye pencegahan perkawinan usia anak, pelatihan life skills education untuk anak-anak dan pengasuhan dengan cinta untuk orang tua, serta akses pendidikan untuk anak putus sekolah. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah strategi yang diterapkan oleh Pemerintahan Kelurahan Kampung Melayu terdiri dari lima strategi yaitu penyuluhan mengenai Undang Undang nomor 16 tahun 2019 tentang perubahan atas Undang Undang nomor 1 tahun 1974 tentang perkawinan, sosialisasi dampak perkawinan usia anak, kampanye pencegahan perkawinan usia anak, pelatihan life skills education untuk anak dan pengasuhan dengan cinta untuk orang tua, serta akses pendidikan untuk anak putus sekolah. ********* This research aims to find out the strategies to prevent child marriage in Kampung Melayu Urban Village. Aqualitative approach was taken in this study with observation,interviews and documentation. Interviews were conducted with six informants, one key informant and an expert. The findings in this study show that the strategies carried out by the Kampung Melayu Urban Village Government in preventing child marriage are counseling on Law number 16 of 2019 concerning amendments to Law number 1 of 1974 about marriage, socialization of the impact of child marriage, child marriage prevention campaigns, life skills education training for children and parenting with love for parents, and access to education for school dropouts. The conclusion of this study is that the strategy implemented by the Kampung Melayu Urban Village Government consists of five strategies, namely counseling on Law number 16 of 2019 concerning amendments to Law number 1 of 1974, socialization of the impact of child marriage, campaigns to prevent child marriage, life skills education training for children and parenting with love for parents, and access to education for school dropouts.
