Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model PBL berbantuan media animasi terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah IPA ditinjau dari gaya belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen dan menggunakan desain treatment by level 2x3 yang dilakukan di SDN Mekarsari 5 dan SDN Sukatani 1, Kota Depok. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes uraian kemampuan pemecahan masalah IPA dan kuesioner gaya belajar. Temuan penelitian, yaitu: (1) kemampuan pemecahan masalah IPA peserta didik yang belajar menggunakan model PBL berbantuan media animasi memiliki rerata skor 79 lebih tinggi daripada peserta didik yang belajar menggunakan model ekspositori berbantuan media animasi dengan rerata skor 70 (nilai p-value 0,00 < 0,05); (2) terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan gaya belajar terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah IPA peserta didik dengan perolehan nilai p-value 0,000 < 0,05; (3) kemampuan pemecahan masalah IPA peserta didik bergaya belajar visual yang menggunakan model PBL berbantuan media animasi memiliki rerata skor 84 lebih tinggi daripada peserta didik yang belajar menggunakan model ekspositori berbantuan media animasi dengan rerata skor 65 (nilai p-value 0,000 < 0,05); (4) kemampuan pemecahan masalah IPA peserta didik bergaya belajar auditori yang menggunakan model PBL berbantuan media animasi memiliki rerata skor 71 lebih rendah daripada peserta didik yang belajar menggunakan model ekspositori berbantuan media animasi dengan rerata skor 79 (nilai p-value 0,000 < 0,05); (5) kemampuan pemecahan masalah IPA peserta didik bergaya belajar kinestetik yang menggunakan model PBL berbantuan media animasi memiliki rerata skor 80 lebih tinggi daripada peserta didik yang belajar menggunakan model ekspositori berbantuan media animasi dengan rerata skor 60 (nilai p-value 0,000 < 0,05). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model PBL berbantuan media animasi terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah IPA ditinjau dari gaya belajar peserta didik di sekolah dasar, meskipun terdapat pengecualian pada peserta didik dengan gaya belajar auditori yang menunjukkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah IPA lebih tinggi ketika menggunakan model ekspositori berbantuan media animasi. ***** This study aims to determine the effect of PBL models assisted by animation media on the ability to solve science problems in terms of student learning styles. This research is a quantitative research with experimental methods and uses a treatment design by level 2x3 conducted at SDN Mekarsari 5 and SDN Sukatani 1, Depok City. Data collection using science problem-solving ability description tests and learning style questionnaires. Research findings, namely: (1) the science problem solving ability of students who learn using the PBL model assisted by animation media has an average score of 79 higher than students who learn using the expository model assisted by animation media with an average score of 70 (p-value 0.00 < 0.05); (2) there is an influence of interaction between learning models and learning styles on students' science problem-solving abilities with p-value of 0.000 < 0.05; (3) science problem-solving ability of students with visual learning style using PBL model assisted by animation media has an average score of 84 higher than students who learn using expository model assisted by animation media with an average score of 65 (p-value value 0.000 < 0.05); (4) the science problem-solving ability of auditory learning-style students who use the PBL model assisted by animated media has an average score of 71 lower than students who learn using the expository model assisted by animation media with an average score of 79 (p-value value 0.000 < 0.05); (5) science problem solving ability of kinesthetic learning style students who use PBL models assisted by animation media have an average score of 80 higher than students who learn using expository models assisted by animation media with an average score of 60 (p-value 0.000 < 0.05). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the PBL model assisted by animation media on the ability to solve science problems in terms of the learning style of students in elementary schools, although there are exceptions for students with auditory learning styles who show higher science problem-solving abilities when using expository models assisted by animation media.
